We had never eaten, or even heard of, Toarmina's Pizza until last night (Saturday, June 4th, 2022). We were exhausted from a long and chaotic day and just needed to relax and enjoy our evening without having to cook. We called our usual place only to find they were closed, so decided to try Toarmina's instead. We were happy that they delivered within our radius (barely) and placed an order over the telephone for a 24-inch pepperoni pizza, which came to $34.46 after tax. We were told 45 minutes, but in reality it took an hour and fifteen minutes to arrive. That being said, the delivery person was polite and the pizza was still hot so she got a tip anyway. We brought this behemoth inside and... Wow, this is really good pizza! I've been looking for thin, kind of floppy NY-style pizza and this delivers. They didn't skimp on the cheese or the sauce at all. I felt they could have been a little more generous with the pepperoni but the quality was very good. This is exactly what we'd been craving. The only reason I'm not giving 5/5 is because of the long delay in receiving our order, but otherwise we are very impressed and will definitely be ordering again in the future. I think we just found our new favorite pizza joint!
Once upon a time this was a solid pizza place in the last 12 months I have had the worst experiences I have ever had with a pizza place. One time I ordered even tipped the driver $8 on my card. Order shows up after ALMOST TWO hours one of my 20oz was a 16.9oz and not what I ordered also came in a bag that reeked of cigarettes and liquor store. The kicker was the driver even had women that clearly didn’t work there in his car. My pizza wasn’t even warm had the audacity to try small talking me after he knew what he did. This type of service has been pretty consistent. The last straw is what was pictured. Like the driver just threw it at my door. Called immediately to get a refund why would I pay for a pizza when none of the topping are on the pizza and half the cheese in a corner. Asked for a refund was told the manager who can refund isn’t working and they would call me back the next day. That was two weeks ago. I will never return to this place after 2 years of regularly ordering I rather support speedway pizza than ever give a dollar to Toarminas again.
I ordered BBQ chicken, but there's no sauce at all on it. No joke, no sauce at all. It was delivered an hour and half after I ordered it and I had to put it in my oven just to make it to where it wasn't cold. When I called to make sure the order was still happening, the first thing I heard was "we're closed". It was still in their operating hours when I called. It had the toppings required, but with no sauce it was hard to get down. I also ordered garlic crust, but the crust is anything but flavorful. Will not order again
This place has the best pizza in town I love ? that they make there own dough and that makes a pizza great the staff is great and the two gentlemen in the morning are always very respectful every time I go in all the staff greet me get my order ready and get me out the door good food good service
The best pizza! And they’re consistently good. Prices aren’t bad either.
So disappointing that this restaurant has taken a dive. I really loved Toarmina's when I first moved to the area two years ago, but it has gone downhill since. The last time I ordered, our pizza wasn't even in the oven when I arrived for pick up. I decided to give it another chance since everyone has rough days, but this time was just as bad. I ordered delivery and called when the delivery was 25 minutes late. I was treated very rudely on the phone when I called to check on the order. She didn't even ask for the name or offer to help whatsoever and quickly hung up. I make it a point to be kind to customer service personnel and was treated as though they couldn't care less. The order was accurate when it finally arrived but the pizza and cheese bread were unevenly cooked. Some parts were cooked well but the other half was doughy. I won't be giving Toarmina's a third chance to ruin my night.
Usually its always great but not today. Took 2 hours to recieve our order. Issues with delivery driver which is understandable. They said they would give us a free 2 liter. We never recieved. I asked for no black olives on my salad. It was loaded with black olives. We also didn't get any sauces we paid for. We spent over $50 ?
We had a order that included a salad, boneless wings, and a large pizza, and I asked for ranch dressing for the boneless wings.What I got were generic chicken nuggets that look and taste like they’re from Walmart, no ranch dressing - but there was a tiny container or marinara, and a pizza that had large chunks of bell pepper and onions and CANNED mushrooms.Even Domino’s uses REAL mushrooms.Serves me right for wanting to try something new on a late Saturday evening.We only ate several pieces of the pizza and the next morning I threw it in the trash, it did not taste better the next day.I ate 4 of the cheap chicken nuggets (NOT boneless chicken wings) and spit one out because they just taste like rubbery trash.It’s all in the trash.This was horrible.
Such potential, unfortunately was disappointed. The ingredients? Good. The crust? Good. The cheese? Good. The sauce? Good, but there simply wasn't any. Around the edges near the crust was the only place there was enough sauce to taste. It tasted good, but 85% of the pizza was essentially just cheesy bread because all I could taste was cheese and crust. A real shame. Peeled off the cheese and basically just a tiny hint of where sauce should be. Managed to make it palatable by using my own sauce from home, but I could have just made my own pizza for that.
I never leave reviews but after a regrettable 3rd extremely disappointing experience here we will not be ordering again. We’ve shown up and been told they didn’t receive our order only to realize they glanced over our ticket and we’d have to wait another 45 mins for it to be made. Half cooked pizza a second time. And the icing on the cake was tonight ordering a thin crust hoping for a better experience only to get home and realize it’s an undercooked round regular pizza again. So I called and requested the right thin crust pizza be made which the woman on the phone said she would start right then. I show up 30 mins later and she tells me it’s still going to be 15 mins until it’s done. So I either have to eat the pizza I didn’t want that has now been sitting for at least an hour at home while I waited for the correct one along with my bread that’s now been sitting too an hour as well. Disappointed and hungry. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!
