I go to this Starbucks almost daily - the staff is always very friendly even when they are super busy and I have never had anything but a great experience here. Paige is so personable and always a treat to see at the window! I highly recommend this location.
I order online so I don't have to wait, but here I am, 30 minutes into waiting on a to go order. This location is the worst in Lansing. "sorry about that" "sorry about that"Also, I guess mobile orders get treated as their own line? People have come in while I wait for my to go order and received their order before mine. Garbage.
Super friendly staff, very consistent with the matcha I get in my favorite drink I get here, the Matcha creme frappe or iced matcha latte
I have literally been to Starbucks all over the US. The past two times that I've been to this location it's been my worst Starbucks experiences. For starters, this location is one of the slowest. The employees seem cliquey and act as if the customers are not their main priority. This is a reflection of the manager on duty. This tells me the manager is immature and/or doesn't really want to be managing shifts at Starbucks. The last time I was there, the barista making the the drinks kept pulling her phone out or her back pocket, texting, then putting it back in her back and continuing to make drinks (handle ingredients, press lids on). It goes without saying, phones are incredibly filthy. They are used throughout the day, even in bathrooms. Again, this is a clear sign that the management at this location is lax and the staff really do not care about the customers. The time before my last visit I counted eight employees in total. I stood at the counter for almost 5 minutes while employees came and went, talked amongst themselves, joked, laughed. There were no other people waiting for beverages and the drive thru wasn't very busy. When an employee finally arrive at the register, I let them know I was just standing there. No one greeted me, told me to wait, or even acknowledged I was standing there. Their response was a look like they couldn't believe I was even mentioning anything and they kind of half heartedly apologized and smirked. This is pretty disappointing. I'm glad there are other options for coffee beverages. Biggby is only 1/4mi west of this location. That's where I've been going lately.
Brandon made me the best Mocha cookie crumble in my life.Venti, extra cookie crumble, 7x mocha sauce, 2 expresso shots, extra cookie crumble, & heavy whipping creme instead of regular milk.Cheers ?
Emmie introduced us to the mango dragon fruit refresher and it was the best. I had mine blended....WOW
Most of the time they close there in-store services. No take outs only drive thru. They put manual notice on main door. Happened 3 times within 2 weeks.
We ordered our coffee at 4:20pm via mobile app. & left your store at 5:10 without our order. We saw the drive-thru was long when we got there, but had originally placed our order on our app for the drive thru.We went into the store instead to get our order & were told that the mobile app pick up time was not taking into account the drive thru flow.We communicated that we were traveling with time frames involved & would like to know when our order would be ready. The barista/cashier -a young woman, was cordial, but clearly not supportive toward a solution & although prompted by us to look up the order offered no concern & only stated that we were 7th in line.We waited, observed, & counted over 7 orders made & still no sign of ours. We approached the counter again at 5:05 & again the attitude was quite far from attempting to accommodate or provide a positive customer experience. Offering no solution, no support, & pointing to the business cards by the door and adding if we wanted to take it up with the “higher ups” to take a business card. Dismissing the matter to “the business card”.We had to request a refund & we were told to pull up our order which was not visible on my mobile app any longer, but that same barista had pulled up our order when she told us we were the 7th in line. After, I reminded her that she saw the order & it was only 2tall caffe lattes- she rang up the refund with no apologies or attempt to care about the 40 min-experience which was the worst Starbucks encounter of all the years we have supported Starbucks.
They're always nice in here no matter how busy they are. I love that they care enough to make your order with care. Only thing they need to improve: Properly heat up the pastries as requested. Got a few Lukewarm to cold more than once. Other than that, this location is solid.
It's hit & miss if they get my order correct and the drive-thru takes forever.
