It's exactly what you expect a Popeyes to be if they had a full staff. Chicken was hot and fresh. Service was fast and friendly. I hope it stays that way when the newness wears off.
I had read some not so good reviews about this location. But our experience was great! We got an 8 piece family meal, with red beans and rice as the side. Between the two of us we will get 3 or 4 meals out of this. Got the mild version of the chicken and liked it better than KFC. The side was also very tasty. So all in all a great experience!
We arrived at 4:40pm for our 4:44pm pickup time. The food wasn’t ready at 4:44pm. There had to be at least 8 workers there but only about 3 actually working. One employee & the manager was more worried about leaving early, he was totally distracting the manager. It’s now been about 10 minutes we were waiting & they inform us they’ve ran out of macaroni & cheese. We had to substitute for that. So after waiting 15-20 minutes for our food we had to ask for our sauces (which we did not receive all of). The manager couldn’t even say thank you. This was a HORRIBLE experience. I can’t wait for the new one in Holt to open….

I use to manage a Popeyes here in Lansing back in the 80s. I haven't had it in a long time. I received some coupons and gave it a try. It brought back some good memories. Chicken was great! Biscuits were a lil dry but tasty.
Asked for a two piece all white and I get a leg and thigh which is dark meat. No time to take it back but from now on I thunk I will take my business to the KFC or the Popeyes on Saginaw
This specific Popeyes is just taking up space. I believe the staff there doesn’t use simple communication skills on letting the customers know about things like we are only accepting credit cards or we ran out of chicken etc. Poorly maintained restaurant and staff needs to question their manager on daily operations during the beginning of their shift. It’s doesn’t take a Guinness to work at a fast food restaurant or do it ??
Frank was the person who served me. He was the most personable employee I have ever encountered. It was such a pleasant experience and will definitely come again.
They got my order wrongI sat at the drive through window for 15 minutes repeating my order , they still didn't understandI think they were high . They stunk of cigarettes smoke & the food smelled like it.. they didn't listen or understand what I ordered... I probably Won't go there again . KFC is Sooo Much Better. Soo Disappointed ?
The food was pretty good but there was barely any rice in the beans and rice and barely any gravy in the mashed potatoes and gravy. From the way the workers responded on the drive thru com it was pretty clear that they had a bad day. One thing I can say for this location is that the couple times Ive been here I haven't been missing anything from my order. Hope Drive thru guys day got better.
