My very first time visiting this establishment after calling in a order. I walked in to purchase my order and the owner handed the guest his order looks at me and heads back into the kitchen ?. Didn’t acknowledge me or anything??? I just left and called then canceled my order lol. Will never visit Ming Again lol
I got a lot of different things the sweet and sour chicken is the best I’ve ever had. Orange chicken was awesome to! Loved the chicken lo mien. I’m picky about my egg rolls but those were even super good. Definitely will come back. Very flavorful and hot.
Amazing food, decent prices, super super super sweet family and good portions. Wait time can be a little long but that’s because they make everything made to order and since the food is so good there’s always a bunch of orders being made. That’s a good sign. If my giant order of Chinese food is done in 15 min I’m gonna be suspicious. At the very least I know at Ming dynasty everything is made to order and fresh. And I bet the reason this is the best “Chinese” restaurant is because they’re from laos and have their very own spin on traditional Chinese American dishes. Don’t even bother w that Asian gourmet place this is the bar to top in Lansing. Pad Thai are standouts as well as anything sweet and sour, big crispy egg/spring rolls, the fried rice is proper fried rice with egg and light and dark soy sauce and not suspiciously yellow like so many other places here. Fried rice is not yellow and these guys got that message years ago the fact that this place is such a hidden gem is insane and the chicken legs for $6 are a huge bargain.
Seemed like it took a long time to get carry out. Food was Ok. Amount was generous. I got Kung Pow Shrimp.
This is my new go to for Chinese food, most local spots are hit or miss but the ladies at Ming Dynasty know what they are doing. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The portions were generous and the meat wasnt drenched in sauce,, it was the perfect balance. The service was beyond my expectations, I was greeted with a smile and we preceded to joke and laugh like old friends.
New fav spot. Delicious and fresh, never soggy. Very nice people and great prices.MD please bring back the cookies and big packs of cookies. Soooo good.
First time trying nearby restaurant. Took advice of a reviewer & got curry chicken. It was absolutely delicious! Just enough heat, spices! Crispy veggies. Luscious savory sauce. Fresh cooked and worth the little bit of a wait. I will go again.
Staff was nice , the taste was pretty good but the chicken Was a little to crispy for me. ( that is why I knocked off one star ) overall it was good though.
Terrible experience, terrible service. They left out a part of my order and refused to give me any kind of credit for it. They said I could come back which I declined because I live almost 20 minutes away and my food would be cold, not to mention if I could even make it back on time before closing. They said I could come another day to get just rice which I refused. Why would I come back on another occasion for just rice? I asked if they could just credit back some of the order like my soup or egg roll for the mistake and inconvenience and they refused. I then stated that if I came back, could they at least remake the chicken so it wouldn't be cold, and they refused that too! I then drove all the way down there and returned to the food to get a full refund. When I got there, the lady who made my food was shaking her arms at me, giving me dirty looks and telling me to go away. I mention to the guy up front I'm here for a refund. While he's doing this, the lady is shouting "remember her, remember her face!" Rude and disrespectful much? What a waste of time! Not to mention I tipped as well. Don't go here. 11/4/21
This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to.They make food they care about, portions are big, prices are good.That full meal feel at the fast food speed. 5 big stars earned, for sure.
