stopped in yesterday for lunch, checking out the town for a car show we are coming to on july 30th.
This was our first time here, and all in all it was pretty good, but not quite "great" overall. Some things were better than others, but I would go back again. Regarding the food itself, it was petty good. We got a variety of items, nachos had a lot going on, pork had good smoke and bark to it. Mac & cheese loaded with brisket and bacon was pretty good. Cornbread was on the dry side. Beer selection is okay, but could use a little more. Our service was good, but not exceptionally great as well. The place wasn't super busy, but it still took the server a fairly long time to greet us. She forgot my beer, twice, but then brought it. I know in these times service industry is stretched thin, so I'll take that into consideration. As stated previously, overall it was a good place that I would try again.
I’m from battle creek, so we drove to lansing just to eat here! It was worth the drive and worth the wait!Our waitress was autumn and even tho it was super busy she did a great job at taking care of all her tables and us! The food was served within reasonable time and the food was very delicious and cooked just right!

Such amazing food!! We saw Meat BBQ on Dinners Drive-Ins and Dives and had to come try it out! We will definitely be coming back! I had the Nachos and the meat fries and they were so delicious! I love the different options of sauce at the table.
Would give 2.5 stars if I could. I ordered 6 smoked wings and full order of loaded nachos. When I got to my room, the nachos did appear to have brisket, and only had 5 wings instead of 6 (5 wings is not a menu item). Worst side of ranch ever tasted.$31 for messed up order. Only thing saving the review were that the flavors was half decent. Won't be back.
Probably the best BBW in Lansing.Great BBQ and very unique way it's severed ( also traditional and on buns)Really good beer and liquor selection. A tone of unique cocktails.Service was friendly and food came fast.HUGE selection of BBQ sauces. I think 7 or 8 in total. The Chipotle cherry was our favorite.We ordered the Meat Mountain and it was really good. The mashed potatoes were very thin, so it didn't support the dish very well. Thicker potatoes or tots would make the dish perfect. The Broccoli salad side dish was just ok.Recommended for sure.
Great bar-b-que! The meat was as good as most of what I used to eat routinely in Texas. Still need a high-quality tangy-sweet sauce...the behind the counter versions can be used to spice the default version. The sides are more-than-just-good!
