Extremely extremely slow. It appears they have overly strict stations where an excess of workers will stand and do nothing instead of take orders or do another task. I get the purpose of stations, but when your workflow is that slow something needs to change. On top of this our orders come out wrong regularly. We have stopped ordering on house and show up late for pickups only for them to still not be done.This last time I told them the name and the woman checked the computer and specifically said it was still being worked on. 20 minutes later she realized it was done the whole time and sitting behind the counter. Incompetence.
Waited in line for 15 minutes to place an order. I ordered and the employee put it in wrong. It took an additional 10 minutes for 2 different employees to figure out how to edit it after I already paid. The service is on the slower side, and I recommend staying away during lunch hour. It's probably even better to do a web order. I heard the phones ringing and not getting answered.
The food was pretty good. But they accidentally gave my order to some other guy. Then when they remade it, they forgot to take off the tomato and shorted me a pickle. Also had a bone or something in the chicken salad? Will definitely try again but was not super stoked with my first experience
waiting over 40 mins for 1 sandwich and when they came to hand it to me it had wrong bread. way too long of a wait for a cold sandwich not impressed. Also saw people who were in line getting food before me even tho I ordered on the app and it was suppose to be ready 10 mins before I got there
had to wait 15 min to order now half hour after ordering still no food. used to have decent service. used to be one of my favorite places to eat. i wont be back to this store.
Usually love stopping here for lunch, but the new way they package the food is terrible. My sandwich was wet and soggy when I got home and I’m not sure if they’re giving less soup now then before or someone just didn’t fill it all the way up… just wasn’t that good of an experience like usual.
An old favorite! Hadn't been to McAlister's in a while but was in the area on a cold night, and a sandwich and soup sounded like the perfect dinner. The place was packed, and the staff was doing their very best; obviously short on staff and some items out of stock, too. Not easy for staff but everyone was as efficient and pleasant as possible. My club sandwich and chicken and dumpling soup were perfectly prepared and tasted great... Better than I remembered and looking forward to making a trip back soon just for more McAlister's!
Check your food if you’re doing pickup. I order regularly (2-3 times a week), and they consistently miss ingredients or completely mess up my order. I’ve had to go back multiple times, sometimes even multiple trips for the same order. The food’s not bad, but somehow they usually mess it up, and they don’t care when you bring it up. It’s ridiculous, especially when certain items cost more because of the ingredients.As a regular customer who’s been visiting for years, it’s sad to see the decline in service. I’ve held my thoughts until now, but the fact that they don’t listen in person and seem to be getting worse leaves a lot of room for improvement.
Time and time again we have a bad experience. I don’t care if the food is good. Having to wait 45 minutes for a meager order only to get home and realize that some items were left out and then, to seal the deal, we called back for a partial refund and they refused to do it. This is not an isolated incident. We are no longer going back.
Lunch is always delicious. Busy but quick service for lunch.
