This place hung up on me while I was ordering. Then I tried to order again and they refused to tell me the price of my order then hung up on me. Terrible customer service. They were very rude and clearly don’t care.
Much like Crack Chicken, this place puts WAAAAAAY too much seasoning on EVERYTHING. Some items are so covered in seasoning that you can't see the breading itself. We may try this place again and ask for no seasoning because you could tell that the underlying food had a good flavor, but the seasoning doesn't let the food speak for itself.
Next time I know to check my shrimp. They were fried with the shell still on. SMH
The prawn was HUGE! Need to be able to grill them though. Frying diminishes the aesthetics and the taste. Next time I will have to grill them myself on my new Ninga foodi XL smart grill and griddle.
I get the same thing here when i come which is the fried pickles and wedges extra seasoning and all so it’s normal and i get what i expect every time ??

Prices have gone up significantly for a small quantity of food. I’m super disappointed.
Old greese, old food. The “catfish” batter is thinned out & watered down so it doesn’t stay on the fish so its more like a thin crust. Fish & chips in one lol . Onion rings crumbled after i bit it because they were most likely from a previous order someone ddnt pick up. The 8 piece drumsticks went from regular size drumsticks before they closed during the pandemic to small wing ding size drumsticks. Then to top it off, after you’ve done passed the food around to the kids & made your plate (which is when you find out) then you call back to see if you can get your money back or at least get your meal again next time you come back. They give you hell & ask for the food back “NOT” touched knowing they’re greese or the food is old & precooked lol. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I recommend Fresh fish on Mlk. Even the prices are better & the food is always hot due to loyal customers. Plus they’re fair & dont give you a hassle if they mess up your order, which is rare!
We visited this location on 11/12/21. The “restaurant” smells horrible as the fish in the case are not fresh. Our order was completely incorrect. We specifically asked for no house seasoning on our meal. The fries were cold and old looking. The shrimp was fried hard and they were covered in seasoning aka salt. Mistakes happen and that’s understandable. What isn’t understandable was the poor custom service afterwards. We called back and spoke with an employee regarding the incorrect, frigid order. We were advised that a manager was unavailable and nothing could be done to compensate us for the ruined $46 order. Beware: disappointing food with worst service. They should change their name to Rotten Fish!
