Great local grocer with fresh middle eastern food!! Always pleased with their food and products. Been shipping here since 2008. Try their grape leaves!!
The owner/operators of Jerusalem Bakery are wonderful and it is reflected in their offerings. I particularly enjoy their samosas, chicken shawarma sandwiches, and cheese bread! They also have a variety of speciality items for sale in the front of their store which is very convenient to option to purchase some hard to find items.Thank you, Jerusalem Bakery!
I don’t know why this place has such high reviews. I chose it because it had a higher review than woodys oasis or alladins. I will say this place was cheaper, but….The guy seemed unfriendly and short with replies when I called. I ordered the chicken schwarma combo with tabooli and pita (came with hummus and rice too). When I got my container I asked if the pita we were served was from their “made fresh daily” pita and they said no, it was a random store bought pita. Not only was this a missed opportunity on their part but my girlfriend and I both thought the pita was super hard. Now for the main issue. When we got home and ate the schwarma we noticed the styrofoam was melted where the chicken and rice were, like they microwaved it in the styrofoam. I do not think this is acceptable because it’s not safe nor healthy. (The sides I got they pulled from their shelf stock of food they were selling).I wouldn’t go here. we won’t be again.
Good clean wholesome place!??
Cute Israeli bakery, deli and mini grocery with a carryout menu. Picked up some Turkish delight, pita and fava beans; didn't get a chance to eat there but would definitely like to on a return visit!
The best place in town for Hummus, Baba Ganoush, pita bread, and any other middle eastern things. The owners are terrific! They also do catering for events! I really like the Samosas and mana'eesh.
Enjoy my stops here every time, great family run business. Garlic hummus, fresh backed pita, and the samosas are fantastic.
Jerusalem had become our favorite middle eastern place. Best hummous, awesome schwarma and fatoush, excellent stuffed grape leaves, and some grocery type items. But best of all is the in store baked pita bread. Seriously the best we've ever had. Add that this is a small family owned business, and it adds up to a place you need to try.
Food is good. Parking is not. Nighttime parking is scarier than scary. Never going there after d sad sunset. Dark alleyway with scary people walking around and no lights
Been going here for years, hadn't been in a while, still recognized me with a mask on. Best hummus hands down with the softest pita bread, baked fresh there at the store, I call it pillow bread, and many other delicious foods. The owners are sweethearts, and offer a yummy selection of groceries as well. Love the pickeled turnups and soft cheeses.
