Well,to be honest the food was great. Even near 5 for the price. The waitress was nice however the service was not perfect. Although it is part of the charm of the diner style. The only reason that I cannot give it a 5 no matter how much I liked it, is that when our party needed the seating the hostess was not in a good mood and did not even try to be courteous. If it was up to me, I might have decided not to eat there just for that. But after we sat, and we dealt with other people, it was a different experience. So maybe change the person upfront!! I understand the hardship of talking to people all morning and trying to keep a smile on your face is really hard, believe me, but it is part of the job nonetheless. Anyhow, it is worth the wait. All the food that we ordered was great.Although again our coffee mugs were either dirty or chipped which was not pleasant, but in another way you can say it is part of it's old look charm.

Had breakfast yesterday with one other person and we both had the bypass. We were both happy with the food. Definitely fresh and seasoned properly. Our waitress was very nice and on point with the food and checking up on us. The restaurant seemed very clean and I would definitely go there again although this was my second time being there. First time was out on the patio how to picnic table which is always nice. I would recommend this restaurant to others for sure!

Really cool little spot with a unique menu and decor. We enjoyed the random mugs and the coffee was surprisingly good. We came by on a weekday and there was no wait.Every food dish we tried was delicious! Will definitely come back whenever I visit Lansing again.

This morning was our first time eating at Good Truckin Diner. What a great place! It's tiny inside but the atmosphere was really nice. They were playing really good music and the server was in a pleasant mood. The menu is very unique and has something for everyone. I also really like that the coffee they have is made right in Reo Town and is SO good!! Usually I like creamer in my coffee to offset the bitterness but the coffee at the restaurant didnt need anything in it because it was so smooth. Although I am not vegan I appreciate they have a section that's just vegan and includes several types of vegan meats. Our food was absolutely delicious!! The habanero relish was just the right amount of spice. We ordered the nice tots to share, he ordered the big country burrito and I ordered the South by southwest but substituted chorizo instead of steak. I like that you can choose between omelet or burrito for the one whole section on the menu. Its nice to be able to see the cook working away and smell everything as its being made. This will be a place we come back to several times for sure!!

Well worth the wait!Walk-in, give your name, number in party and your cell.Leave to wait outside or in your car. They'll call you. During the winter don't dawdle! The place is compact and the cold air blasts through the place!Service was outstanding. Food delicious!Pictured is the mutha clucking omelette with American fries and Back Up burrito with waffle fries.Even the toast was delicious!!!

Great food! Great service! Great diner atmosphere. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. I recommend vegan chorizo in anything that's breakfast. Their menu leans South West but they have some great and unique pancake and waffle options. Always creative daily specials posted on the chalk board by the counter.

Pretty great breakfast place a little slow...seemed that take out orders were getting mire attention than dine in...other than that great food! Coffee is meh...just walk down the street and get Blue Owl. I had the Hippie Hangover, I highly recommend it...super delicious!

Pretty good breakfast. Service was ok. Coffee was good. Not too busy so the food came fast. A lot of great sounding options on the menu; a lot more since my last visit.

Pretty good food. My only problem was the menu wasn't up to date and my food cost more than the menu said it would. Not a huge amount but still not appreciated. Pictured is Diesel with scrambled eggs and pork sausage.

One of my top 3 breakfast places in Greater Lansing. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great people. Definitely worth the wait.
