Saturday afternoon service was Typical for this type restaurant. I had gyro and chili fries and my wife had the cinnamon roll pancakes. The gyro was freshly made but the meat was not cooked, literally cold. The pancakes were small and tasted burned, would rank this on par with Athena but a step down from Zeus both nearby. All 3 of these I wish were cleaner.
Nice clean restaurant, friendly folks.My service was a little off for it being relatively slow. Didn't leave me with a straw I had to go get one. said she bring me some napkins and didn't. My coffee cup sat empty until I waved in the air. Food was good, had a gryo and fries (I liked the fries).I wish " yoga pants " or whatever would go out of style. Not only in restaurants but in general.I would definitely go back to Dan's if I am in the area.
The food came out hot. The cheese sauce for the fries was cold. Things seems to move slow at Dan's Coney Island, took quite a while for our food in a quiet restaurant. Good diner coffee, staff was fine, not overly attentive. Small and quiet place.
The food was good and the portions were very generous. The waitress was friendly and professional. I would definitely eat there again if I was in the area.

One of the best dining experiences that we've had at a Coney Island in many years. The food was excellent NOT GREASY AND SALTY BUT FLAVORFUL.Wait staff were friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Food was well prepared. Portions were excellent and prices were comparable to others.I would highly recommend this Coney Island.

Absolutely love this place, best loaded fries, perfect rodeo burger. Always good food, good service and freshly brewed ice tea everyday.
