It's basically a barbecue place that takes pulled pork and brisket and makes different sandwiches out of it this is not a barbecue place where you can get barbecue chicken and ribs.... The brisket is tasty the Pulled pork is good. But isn't a bbq place supposed to have chicken legs and things and bbq ribs and wings?....hopefully they will change the menu many of us still have to travel Into lansing to get bbq chicken ribs and wings..
The meat was tender and juicy, but that's about the only positive. I used to love this restaurant a few years ago, so I was super excited when they reopened the new dine in location. Unfortunately I don't think I will be returning. The food was incredibly bland and everything was lacking seasoning. The macaroni and cheese was watery and lackluster. The white bbq sauce was good, but I don't have much else to say on the positive side. Sad to see one of my favorites has lost it's spark.
We are at the old locations years ago several times, loved it.Today’s experience was indescribably terrible. No biscuit sandwich without “Mac and cheese” on it? Mac and cheese? Um runny flavorless butter and macaroni. Wheres the cheese? Coleslaw. Is this butter and cabbage blended together?Dry brisket was subpar and I’ll leave this with the words Carolina vinegar water.Horrible!!
It hurts me to post a negative review of this place, but Crossroads Barbecue is a shell of its former self. I ordered the Brisket mac & cheesy sandwich, corn muffin and side of Mac & cheese. The sad excuse for Brisket was absolutely flavorless had the texture of wet shredded beef, the muffin was akin to cheap box mix and the Mac and cheese was worst I have ever had. It was a runny, unflavored mess that even the sauces couldn't redeem.The only redeeming factor of the whole meal is the white BBQ sauce that my wife ordered (avoid the Kansas city BBQ, it has the consistency of a chunky salsa) and the sprite I ordered.This is not the Crossroads that I used to enjoy eating at
The new location is convenient and decorated very nicely. The food and service were excellent. We will definitely return often.
So delicious! The meat, the sides, the sauces, and sandwiches are all equally excellent. Rivals southern bbq. Highly recommend!

Just had Crossroads for dinner and it was amazing!! The pork was so very tender and juicy!! Will definitely be back.
Food is garbage. This isn’t good BBQ. Macaroni was terrible as well. Try it at your own risk.
We are so excited that Crossroads is back!! And better than ever before… The brisket is melt-in-your-mouth, the baby backs are cooked to perfection and have the most scrumptious smoky flavor, their sauces are bomb, sides are phenom…basically if you haven’t been - get there now!!
