I LOVE THIS STORE. I was so excited when this store opened. I live across the street and it is so convenient. Even if I didn’t live across the street, I would drive miles just to shop here. If you are in the Lansing area, you know of Horrocks. This store reminds me of Horrocks. It has a kitschy vibe to it, yet not pretentious. It has vendors come in and sample products to the public. They have exclusive brands you can’t get at a big box store. The layout of the store is remarkable. It is open, yet cozy. The aesthetic is welcoming. To make things even better, they have a cafe in house that makes STELLAR food. They have competitive prices, friendly staff, and I am glad they are doing well. They are always busy!!!!

I love this place. It is an OCD dream and is so satisfying to walk through. This seems to be an odd component of a review unless you've walked through the store and you already understand what I mean. Everything is perfectly faced and stocked and just looks superb. There is such a great variety of items and plenty of small, local business options as well. Plus, there is a small coffee shop along with fresh made sushi made right there as well. I noticed there wasn't any sale tags like you would find at meijer (this is a meijer store) so that is different.

Hipster workers usually aloof at best, more typically annoyed. Had to actually complain to mgr to get people preparing sushi to mask. Self service kiosks are slower than people, and even tho it's a meijers, i can never access receipts online, nor do I get Mperk awards. Bottle collection open only sporadically and unpredictably. If it weren't so close to my home. . .

I have been several years away from Lansing, however when I came back I couldn't help feeding my curiosity about The Capitol City Market. To be completely honest I was blown away by how gorgeous this supermarket is, and was completely taken away by the produce section and vegan options. When I settle into a place of my own, I will become one of their most satisfied customers. What a blessing to this great city!!

Nice grocery store with organic, vegan, and other healthy choice products. Good selection. Produce was fresh and stocked. Resembles a Whole Foods but with Meijer prices. All self checkout.

Perfectly located so I can stop in right after work.

I just started coming here it’s a nice set up and sectioned off nicely smells good good products and food and have my vegan sections easy to find

Great variety and they have unique items that you can't find everywhere. Store is clean, well stocked and easy to navigate. Easy checkout and didn't have to wait in line.

It was very nice and very clean. Very nice little addition to the neighborhood. Only got four stars because it didn't really have much that I needed. Unless I lived in the neighborhood then we got five.

I was inside the market and my maps didn’t register my arrival & the prices are higher then other markets in the area. However, the product variety is excellent. They have a vegan cooler, locally grown products, fresh fruits and vegetables, a deli, sushi bar, lots of different meats and drink selection. There is a bottle return outside of the store near the parking. Really convenient! The sitting area near the deli is really chic & spacious. Little carts for the kiddos!! The market is well thought out concept of a market: it’s clean, and welcoming. It has a upscale environment. Very inviting.
