The prices have gone up exponentially while the quality of the food has gone down. Ribs are solid, but consistent issues with pork sandwiches.A sandwich should not have a whole pile of cilantro with the stems attached. Who wants to eat stems in their sandwich? Cucumber is no longer cut up, but one single spear running down the middle of the sandwich. Pork itself is always tough and grisly. More like jerky than a tender sandwich. The sandwiches are something an AI would make.
Best barbecue restaurant in Lansing. The service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend the brisket or tofu banh mi. The banh mi is served with a crisp baguette with fresh, tangy pickles. The tofu is flavorful and the brisket is smoked to perfection. Highly recommend making a stop here.
I started out wanting BBQ but they have Vietnamese food too. Opted for the pho. ?. The slice of peanut butter cheesecake was bomb diggity too. Very very good.
This was a nice little place. Mostly takeout by what I saw. 8t had a steady flow of customers coming in to pick up their orders. I got a 1/4 slab of ribs meal with 2 sides. It was $18.99 which I thought was kinda pricey but then it was downtown Lansing. I live in the Flint area but was in Lansing on business. The ribs were delicious. They fell right off the bone. The sides were homemade very tasty. The young man who took my order and told me it was okay that I ate in the dining room did come out and ask me how my dinner was. He offered to refill my soda which was very nice of him. I walked out full and happy.
The Bahn-Mi's are the best in Lansing and so are the fries! The cheesecakes are homemade and it shows in the best ways. Highly recommended and was also featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives!
The BBQ dishes are pretty good, Pho is waaaayyyyyy too salty.
Friendly service, quick and a surprisingly wide selection. Maybe a little pricey but the food was excellent so no regrets. We will certainly be coming back.
This place was delicious. I never expected to love the combo of a delicious bbq sandwich and a couple of egg rolls as much as I did. Well done.
