We dined in on a random Monday afternoon with a toddler. The pictured classic Mushroom sandwich was THE best we've ever gotten from a big John. This location surpasses the other lansing location in customer service and exceptional products. The toddler LOVED the mac and cheese.
The people were really nice, but the subs were dry, there was no tomato or lettuce or barely even any cheese on my steak and onion sub which I thought would at least come with it. They didn't even offer to add toppings, so I was very disappointed. I don't think I'll be returning.
I was disappointed this visit. Usually the steak,mushroom and cheese sub is awesome but today there was more grizzled than meat and more mushrooms than either! The waffle fries were delicious though
Good food but takes a long time and I found a long black curly piece of hair in my sub last time, didn't have time to turn around so I took it out and kept going but overall good food and still would come back
I've been here twice within a 4 week span due to staying locally, and each time I went and ordered, my order was not correctly prepared but my food was fresh. I settled for fresh food over complaining. Just make sure order is prepared right before leaving.
Sad business. Store needs painting. Parking lot needs repair. The drive thru box is really really basic looking. My order was fine except they skimped on the meat IMHO. Staff seemed to be distracted. If they invested in putting the store back in shape, modernizing the order box outside and hired enthusiastic staff then this place would be great
This is the best Big Johns location!! The food is always hot always delicious! When I ask for extra cheese they actually give me extra cheese unlike other locations. I always order the steak & onion and it is oh so good!!! I live in Owosso and there is one here. Not great and they don’t even have waffle fries. Whenever I am in Lansing I go to this location. Love them!!!
My favorite sandwich and always taste the same!! Never had a meal here I couldn't eat....Steak is so tender and packed with flavor..
I absolutely love the #4, steak,cheese,mushroom with their red sauce!! And all my extras!! Not bad prices either.
This is a fantastic place to eat. They do not have a huge amount of items but what they have is cooked to perfection. Tender beef sautéed with mushrooms, onions, sliced cheese on a fresh bread, definitely a place to try!
