First time visit... I thought it was pretty good and will definitely visit again. Staff was nice. Sandwich had a good taste..
Ordered 2 combos with waffle fries and a chicken salad with ranch. We got our subs and salad. No drinks, had to ask for them. No fries, didn't notice until we got home and no ranch. Terrible service and were told we have to bring the entire order back to get the fries. We cut our loses and will not be going back.
Our very own Cheesesteak, none are in the Grand Rapids area. Stopped to get a sandwich for lunch while on a road trip. Get yourself a bottle of Red Sauce, your taste buds will thank you. Just a steak and cheese with banana peppers and Big John sauce, money!! Wish they were in GR
Great friendly customer service! DELICIOUS subs. Only complaint is that I wish they would add the jalapenos into the meats/sun instead of having them on the side in a cup.
Quick line at the drive thru. Ordered the number 4. Presentation was lacking but Holy smokes this sub was awesome! The bread was so fresh and soft. Canned mushrooms were a bit of a bummer though. Overall tasty stuff.Went back because I found out there are seasoned waffle fries. They stole the show. Hot, crispy, delicious, and soft on the inside.
My driver was VERY ENTHUSIASTIC about the sandwich and fries she got from here. I was personally unable to try it THIS TIME. But I definitely will next time I pass through your lovely town. More to come... ?
I live in Grandville Michigan but whenever I'm driving through Lansing you gotta try Big John's Steak and Onion a try if you've never had it. Great steak band cheese subs are made here. They season the steak the onions are grilled in with the steak and the bread is very good. It's not a Philly steak and cheese but it doesn't need to be because it's great being a Big John's steak and cheese.
Good break from fast food. The steak is grilled with your choice of toppings as you wait. There's a good amount of meat on fresh Italian type bread. We love the mushrooms and onions and of course cheese. They have some other sandwiches and salad but this sandwich is so good I haven't tried them yet.
8:00 pm on a cold, rainy night in March, wanted something different for a supper while driving to Detroit. Pulled up to the drive-thru, young man was very polite and well spoken. Ordered an 8" steak and mushroom sub and a chicken salad. Both were superb flavor, chicken for the salad was amazing, NICE presentation for the salad as well. We were more than pleased, and we tend to be hard to please. Will definitely stop again.
I just had the most amazing steak and cheese sandwich here! I requested extra cheese, banana peppers and their wonderful red sauce. They asked if I wanted the red sauce on top or cooked in. I never knew that was an option and chose cooked in. That sandwich was so good and flavorful! And the lady at the window was just as sweet and helpful as could be!
