We moved here 2 1/2 years ago and up until we found this place all the Chinese restaurants we tried were just not that good. We were super impressed with the food here. The prices are great and the portions big as well. It’s a little hole in the wall however holes in the wall are usually the best! This is a must try for delicious Chinese food!
My favorite Asian place in Lansing! They cook and deliver SO quickly, my food is too hot to eat so I'm writing this review while it cools.This restaurant never let's me down. Having a bad day and need to eat your feelings? This is your place.They have never gotten my order wrong, they'reconsistently delicious and fresh, and have super speedy delivery. Highly recommend.
For lunch, I ordered an egg roll, some beef lo mein, and rice.. I am highly impressed! The veggies were crispy, the beef was juicy, and there was plenty of sauce in the lo mein to cover my noodles, veggies, and beef, and still use some for my rice.I've even reheated my leftovers for dinner and it is still amazing! The prices are very fair for the portion sizes, and I will definitely be making this place a regular lunch hub of mine.
They have the BEST food and the staff is nice! I order the chicken lo mein a lot and the crab ragoons!
We've been ordering food from Asian Gourmet for many years now. Their food has been consistently good year after year. And their prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. They don't skimp on portions! We highly recommend them.

There has been nothing that I have ordered that hasn't been delicious. Their hot and sour soup is awesome. Food is always hot and fresh. They don't charge an insane delivery. Their prices are fair, and I never finish my deluxe combo in one sitting it is good size and the egg roll is the bomb.
Not sure who's cooking now? We Got home and the fried rice & jasmin rice was under/over cooked. So it was kinda mushy/hard & the other side were really salty. Had been coming there for over a year & its just not the same.
The food and service has changed for the worst. Very unfortunate. I will no longer be ordering from here.
I was disappointed. My wife got me a care package of hot & soup and szechuan beef extra hot. The soup was pretty good--i would recommend it. The beef was just OK and devoid of heat, save for one mouthful that had just a glimmer of peppers. This simply not spicy hot at all. That my wife specifically said hot, I'm not impressed. Given all the Chinese places in the area I'll be trying others.
