Great food, nice atmosphere. I always enjoy coming here and the 2 for $20 is always a fun option. I only give this 4 stars instead of 5 because the menu options are a bit limited, their delivery radius is small, and they removed some great Irresistibowl options from the menu.
This was the best applebees I have ate at in a long time! Service was great and so was our dinner. Paid right with my phone!
Had the cage and salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes and everything was served hot and very flavorful. I even got my picture taken with tom cruise.
The desire to go out to eat is so tempting but the guilt of knowing I could have prepared four tasty, fresh, quality meals for what my husband and I just spent is why there will be no more eating poorly in the hood. There is no ambiance, no effort by the employees to be more presentable, and the quality of food is basically microwaved garbage. Is it steak I just ate?? I'm not sure. The food was brought out quickly, that was true. Our waiter was nice. The bathroom was clean. That's all I have to say about that.
The manager Brandon was great. Made us feel welcome and made special room for our larger party! Kitchen made a mistake with our food and was immediately corrected in a professional and timely manner!Server was amazing even though we were not anywhere near her regular tables! ? Great job everyone!!
The employees of a restaurant is really what makes or breaks it. Much love to the awesome and dedicated employees like Ala, shawna and Rosa, I hope they are always getting the appreciation and recognition they deserve. This location wouldn’t be anywhere if it weren’t for employees like them. I wish them all the best and for them to continue to grow and succeed and to be the best human beings they can be.
Several friends and I watched the Final Four games last night. Our server was Helen. She never missed a beat, even with her holding down the place at the end of the night. She checked on us, our drinks were always on time. ( Mucho appreciated). This was our second time in and served by her. Couldn't pass up an opportunity to say, thank you Helen your awesome! And also thanks to the staff for accommodating our group so quickly. We'll be back!!
I want to comend the crew of this location in Lansing. I was at this restaurant on a very busy evening. St Patrick's night. I just wanted to thank all the young ladies for being polite and apologetic. You all handled the rush as best as you can. Good Job to you all!!
Went for lunch today with my family. Service was ok. Food presentation good but we ordered 2 steak meals medium rare. Both steaks were totally over cooked like jerky. Told the waitress and she just brought the bill instead of trying to fix the food. Said she took the steaks off but she didn't. Paid $60 for $15 of food that was edible. We will not be returning to this location. We love Applebee's so this is unfortunate. Do better people
My husband and I placed a pickup order for tonight. Order was placed at 5:45pm for a 7pm pickup time. My husband let the restaurant know he was on his way (this is a notification setup they have). He arrived at 7pm, and again informed them he had arrived.Ten minutes go by and no workers have come out. He waits. A person that pulled up AFTER him got their food immediately. A worker came and asked what he was picking up, and said they would check on it. 7:20pm and he has now been informed they are finishing the food. 7:30pm and my husband gets our food, but no shakes (we ordered two). They finally bring out the shakes (which were comically small) and did not apologize for the wait.Communication goes a LONG WAY. Tell us you're busy, tell us you're short staffed, tell us you're behind - that's fine. Don't make someone wait an extra thirty minutes for two meals, and two shakes, without communicating what's going on.The food was cold when he got home (we live ten minutes away). His pasta was oily, and the shakes were basically blended milk. I didn't expect much from a local chain restaurant, but for $40 (tip included) I expect the food to be hot, and edible.I do not recommend dining at this Applebee's location. Save yourself the headache of waiting 30+ minutes (for an order you placed way ahead) for cold food.
