I was sick for months. After a straight week of Tropical Smoothie I was healed. Is there something deeper at play here? Can everything be healed (if you tip enough)? Are new drugs being tested in smoothies? Did that week of smoothies coincide with starting a new treatment plan provided by a doctor? Just asking questions ?♀️You should do your own research to discover the truth. Like trying a darn good peanut butter banana smoothie.
I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Always friendly and never had a bad smoothie or food. Highly recommend!

Placed order for five smoothies via the website with curbside pickup at 5:36 pm. Arrived at store at 5:50 pm and clicked button on phone to "let them know we were there". Automated response was "we'll be right out". After waiting, and some more waiting, no curbside delivery. At 6:10 pm called store with it going to voicemail. Hobbled in to store and asked where my curbside order was. Got the deer in the headlight look from employees. They finally figured out my order was in their cooler and had been ready for a while. Employees stated phone was off so they didn't get notified it was a curbside order (which explains not answering phone). Probably shouldn't offer curbside if you can't make the system work. Still don't understand how they got order, but didn't know it was curbside. Smoothies were ok, service was horrible.
Had this once and it was aight. But I was scrolling through eBay on my phone most the time I was in the establishment so I cannot necessarily rate the atmosphere or service
My usual smoothie tasted just as good as it does back home!
You can tell they exploit their employees by the insane turnover rate. Smoothies are good but food is usually pretty bad.
I visit this particular store frequently. The staff is always super nice! However, they are not very well trained. I order the same smoothie every time. Every time the smoothie taste different. Not blended well, taste like ice, ingredients clearly missing like today.The food is rarely made correctly or something is missing. It’s possibly the most inconsistent Tropical Smoothie ever. The 2 stars are for the employees being so nice & hard working or I’d given them no stars.
My roommate went in and ordered the Baja bowl without cheese because he is severely allergic to dairy and could go into anaphylactic shock if he eats it. They made it with cheese so he asked to have it remade because he can not have it. He got home and went to take a bite only to notice they made it again but this time with the cheese on the bottom. Will never give my business to a tropical smoothie location again!
THE crazy thing about this review is I actually love this place!Now the customer service I received today was exceptionally beyond anything I could fathom. I literally witnessed a young man with blonde hair sneeze into his BARE hand, and with THE same hand reach and grab the ice scooper and proceed to stick his hand inside the ice box then scoop away. Before deciding to run to the back and come back a second later. When I said something to him about it I was simply acknowledged with a "I washed my hands in the back!" maybe he did. Maybe as soon as he sneezed in his hands for me to see he could've stopped what he was doing before contaminating anything and washed them. please excuse me for having a Karen moment and have a nice day
