So I have driving by this place before and finally tonight we decided to try this place and it wasn’t bad. From what I can tell from the outside, it seems like a outdoor/ indoor place especially with the fact that there are no windows. Likewise, it looks pretty cool inside especially with the fixtures and plane decorations and old signs. For dinner I got the 4x4 pizza which was delicious. The service wasn’t bad. Overall I do recommend this place if your looking for somewhere to eat in kalamazoo
I would have given it a 5 star, but the sweet and spicy pickles disappointed. Just tasted like fried pickles. I had the naked wings with the sauce on the side and it was fabulous. Enjoyed myself, it's definitely a comfort spot. The staff was a bit more involved with their own staff and regulars, not really engaged to bring new client. Could have been a day that was a regulars day, they weren't rude just took longer than usual to get served. Definitely will give it another try when I'm in town.
Great Food & Service.I lived in Kalamazoo for 10 years and went by often, but never ate at the Hanger. My loss. I was visiting town and stopped in after flying cross country (yea I'm a pilot).This is a sports bar with an aeroplane motif. Not too big, and they open the place up with the warm weather.The service was great as was the food. In particular, they do great Onion Rings. Had the Philly Steak sandwich. It was done well with a great bun. Not too much bread. I'll be back when I fly into AZO in the future.
Surprisingly really good food! Not completely average, but very Tasty! Kind humans work here!

Haven’t been yet but I heard about an amazing chef named Brandon who just knows his way around the kitchen. Will definitely be making a trip out soon to check out his delicious meats.
Heard a lot of good tasty story’s about the margarita pizza I’m going to check it out right now :)
The chef (who was very tall and handsome) came up and personally recommended the margarita pizza. Now want to hire him as a personal chef
