So I've only ever gone through the drive thru until today. My kids, husband and I are currently going through a rough patch and are staying at the Super 8. Many people in a small space is hard. So as a surprise the family and I walked to Steak and Shake. Had no problems with ordering on the kiosk but was told if I needed help just ask Talana. After placing my order Talana reliazed my order was take out and was kinda bummed we weren't staying I told her well I planned eat outside at the picnic tables with the umbrellas. With a big smile on her face told me that everyone could wait outside and she could bring out the food to us. Dad went out with the kids and Talana gave me napkins ketchup and 4 paper hats with cars and crayons for the kids. My youngest accidentally broke her hat and Talana was coming out anyways to bring out a 3rd hat she had forgotten. I walked in walked back and explained how hard being in 1 room with all the kids are. I only had enough money for 1 drink to go along with are $4 dollar meals. Talana asks what would the kids like to drink it's on me. I told thank you soo much and my food was ready so she and I walked it outside where I told everyone to tell Talana thank you soo muc. She said your welcome it's my pleasure. We're kinda at the end of our meal and Talana asks us if everything was great and all the kids say it was great. Talana tells me that I wanted to give you this gift card it's not much but I know how hard it can be. I got a big smile on my face said that you didn't need to do that getting up asked her if she was a hugger and all the kids again said thank you. Talana my our experience extra special just by being extra special!
The burger wasn't that good but it still was good I would eat there again if it was the only place there was but it was really good but the fries were to small but they still tasted good but they didn't put enough m&Ms in the shake but it still was amazing
I walked into Steak ‘n Shake to use the restroom and to my absolute disgust, I discovered what I can only describe as nuclear diarrhea at the highest caliber. This toilet was so horrendous that I simply just had to document it. after I had went to the restroom, I planned on ordering some food, but after witnessing such an unholy massacre on this very unfortunate toilet, my appetite was ruined and I didn’t eat until much later that day. So, to conclude, do NOT go to the bathroom at a Steak ‘n Shake or it could be the last thing you ever do.
We were there about 2 and a half hours maybe 3 hours ago and Tracy and I went inside to eat. The place was very quiet and they had kikok's inside there. You can order anytime on any given day during the week or weekend. Sometimes they get busy alot. Tge place was great and Matt and Tracy have been there a few times. But the fries were to warm and they should be able to make them more hotter next time.
Fries were cold and tasted like it was sitting for awhile. I've seen a warmer hot dog at a bbq after it got pulled off the grill 2 hours ago.Burgers were hot, but bacon was cold.Almost every time I've been to this steak n shake I've had similar problems.
The new way of ordering and getting you food was interesting you don't have that interaction with people anymore. I mean I get it now a days . At least the inside is open. Good was great.
Cardboard straws were terrible. Won't go back just because of the straws. Food was good except order accuracy was not. I did not get what I ordered even though I was charged for it.
Absolutely obsessed with the milkshakes ? download the Steak ‘n Shake app and once I download it it it gave me a coupon for a free specialty shake??☺️ Will definitely be using that app for points for rewards
Ordering from a kiosk wasn't awful. But when they delivered the food to the table, it wasn't delivered with any napkins, didn't offer any ketchup and forgot my daughter's drink. Had to go back up to the counter multiple times. Staff was nice, just doesn't seem like the greatest execution of the new system of not actually having servers.
When me and my boss and other team crew we ordered some food but my boss found an Long peice of hair in his Burger and my my friend didn't get no type of a cherry on his malt milkshake.
