The food is delicious! This place is definitely my favorite bbq in the Kalamazoo area. The ice cream at the Stadium location is to die for. Kenny and all the staff have always been very attentive and kind! I always order extra bbq sauce because it’s delicious. The first 2 times it has been missing from take out orders and went unnoticed until we got home. Now they still forget it the majority of the time but I know to check my order while still in the restaurant and they are always happy to correct it! Still gets a 5 star recommendation- just dine in or be aware to make sure your order is correct before leaving!
We had Skinny Kenny’s food truck at our wedding and it was an absolute hit. Guests were raving all night about everything. Everyone we worked with was a dream to work with. They got food out the window so quickly to keep lines down. Great food, great service, even better people. Thank you!!!!!!

My Fiance and I went there for lunch for the first time today, and we are sure glad we did, their food is outstanding!!!! They have these signature beans that are my new go to's!!! When I have a bbq I will order a large quantity of their beans to show off to my friends and family, they are that delicious!! I cannot get enough of them. The meat is just as good, if not better! I went for the first time today with my husband and toddler. Everything was DELICIOUS. I loved the nachos and chicken. The sides were great as well. Service was so nice. Kenny seems like a really nice guy, who cares about his customers. So excited that such a yummy place opened in Mattawan area. We will be coming back!They also have a legit ice cream selection. So that’s nice too especially with summer around the corner.
The food was fantastic. The restaurant was spotless clean. The guy (Skinny Kenny) who took our order was the best. Highly recommend you eat here.
First Kenny is not skinny, but that's okay. He is gregarious and checked on those who were dining in to see how they liked their food.The restaurant was neat, clean and bright.Even though the menu is spartan it requires more than one trip to try the variety offered.Prices are not cheap, but it's a cut above fast food and the owner takes your order, so the chance for error is reduced.I had the bbq pork sandwich with tots and a diet coke.They do a lot of things in house and it makes a difference.My only negative would be that their diet coke dispenser lacked coke syrup (but they substituted a canned coke) and the tots were a bit over salted.If you're coming from town and driving west it's easy to miss their driveway.It was nice to be treated like a customer and not an intrusion on someone's day.Worth a visit.
I've been to the stadium location a few times. I will be going back to try more menu items. Nice and clean restaurant. The food so far has been tasty. Love me some BBQ!
Delicious. They even have Old Peninsula's root beer. My kids loved the mac and cheese. They also have an extensive ice cream menu. We will have to come back during warmer weather.
Food was good the first time we got take out. Second time it was as well, but they forgot my sides even though they were paid for. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again tonight.Once again, paid for side and it wasn’t included. My portion of the Mac Bowl was half the size of a previous order. So basically I’m eating an entree the size of a side dish tonight. Disappointed.Husbands Treat Me was just as he ordered.Advise is to check your order before leaving!
