This place is a literal front to rake in more money for a local cult. They use their “church affiliation” to keep from paying taxes. Way better coffee around here where tax money returns to the community instead of indoctrination funding.

Matchhead is a fantastic place for some good coffee and a spot to chill.Lots of comfortable seating and places to work.The coffee is delicious. The espresso machines, equipment, bar, and coffee is well thought out.The baristas are great, and do a fantastic job.I like how clean, simple, and elegant this place is. Absolutely in the “top 3 shops” of Kalamazoo.Also, Radiant Church operates Matchhead as a non-profit. The revenue goes to support the overall uplifting of our community!
Super vibes! Kalamazoo downtown was missing this place. 2 years ago, you couldn’t find a proper cortado around. Now, heaven! Deserves 4.6 not 4.3. They had two wonderful espresso options when I visited today.

Great third wave coffee shop serving Onyx coffee and a more traditional espresso menu. Highly suggest trying the Tropical Weather blend in your next espresso drink.The shop is spacious and great for bringing a group of people or settling in to work for a bit without feeling cramped or pushed out.Love that all of their profits are donated to community-focused organizations across Kalamazoo.
