I don't know how service or food could possibly get worse at this location. Welcomed by a robot voice welcoming me to kfc, only for it to be interrupted by an employee only what I could describe as yelling into the mic telling us to wait and to ignore the robot so we waited, a different employee took our order and the whole ordeal was very confusing. Got the food after about 10 minutes (which in reality isn't that long, but we were the ONLY ones there). No forks for Mac and cheese. No napkins. No condiments. Fries are nearly as dried out as beef jerky, Mac tastes like it was cooked in dirt water, tenders were very clearly old and nasty. Not our first bad experience either, one day they were out of biscuits? Next time out of honey? Honestly just comes down to whoever their "team" is hiring and their failure to choose the right people for the job. Everyone has zero motivation to work. Probably not going back ever again. 0/5 stars
Employee was taking my order and a drive-thru order at the same time, upon driving home from Kalamazoo to Galesburg I realized I did not receive my pop from my combo and got coleslaw I won't eat instead of the corn i ordered and was told they were out of cake. I see I will drive the extra 5 miles and try the battlecreek location next time
Tried picking up dinner here last Friday evening. I waited probably around 10 min in the drive thru line before placing my order. They parked me (like they were doing with pretty much every car) and I waited. And waited some more.I ordered 2 chicken breasts, 1 wing, mashed potatoes & gravy and a drink. Seems simple enough, right? Wrong. Finally an employee came to my window and tried to hand me an 8-piece bucket. I should have just accepted it and left. Instead I went inside and asked for a refund because I couldn't wait around any longer. The employee at the window was completely rude. The manager told her to just give me a refund since I had placed my order 20 minutes prior. I placed my receipt on the counter. The employee kept telling me to insert my card. I had paid with cash, which she would have seen if she had taken any effort to look.I will never, ever go back here. Even if they offered me a $100 gift card, I will never go back. Nobody working there had any hustle. They were literally sauntering around as if they were browsing a library. One employee even slowly walked an empty box outside to the garbage can while customers were waiting. I understand that good help is very hard to find right now, but an apology or explanation goes a LONG way.Side note, I picked up dinner at Arby's instead. There was no line and the employees were professional and friendly. KFC should study them and take notes!
We went to this KFC today and had a horrible experience!!! We walked into the lobby and were discussing what we wanted so we didn’t mind that no one came to the front counter to take our order right away. However, ten minutes passed before anyone came out front. The employee quickly said “We’re only taking mobile or online orders today” then turned and walked away. We started trying to order on my phone and my husband decided to ask if we could eat in the lobby. The same employee rudely yelled at him, “No! I told you we’re only doing mobile and online orders!” My husband told her they should have a sign on the door so people know. She rudely said “Pfft..have a nice day” Though her tone was anything, but nice!!! At that point I told her she didn’t have to be so rude and that she needed to work on her customer service interactions. She then yelled, “Get out of my lobby!!” I told her we were leaving and would never be back. She repeated the same “Just get out of my lobby!!!” I have never had such a horrible experience and I would never eat there again if it was the only restaurant open in town! To make matters worse as we were pulling away we noticed the sign on the marquee said “Lobby Open”. I understand people are short staffed and stressed out, but it doesn’t cost anything to be kind and treating customers with respect goes a long way!!!
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am not one to make 1 star reviews as I believe every business differs depending on who’s working, but I have been here multiple times and have either NEVER gotten my food or gotten the wrong food every single time. They pull you forward and make you wait over 10 minutes with no other customers in line.
Would give it 0 stars. But this restuarant is extremely disrespectful, rude, and the food isnt cook right. When asked for different meal was greeted with sarcastic anger.
I’d give zero stars. This is the WORST KFC around. I just ordered 3pc Nashville hot tenders and the chicken was cold.(I waited 15 mins too) and Probably the worst chicken I’ve ever had. The fries were so hard I couldn’t even chew them and not to mention I found a hair in one of them.. didn’t even waste my time to go complain I just threw everything away and lost my appetite and won’t ever be going back.
It definitely could have been better than it was chicken was nor cooked all the way to the bone and the mashed potatoes were cold and the biscuit was hard
This location most definitely deserves zero stars. In fact every place I've been trying on gull road lately deserves zero stars. The person working the window seems to not know how to do their job. Also, is chicken tenders becoming KFC's McDonald's Ice Cream machine? I was told they were out but i see some reviews on here claiming the same. Maybe if they don't want to make them pull them off your menu or just simply observe the supply and demand of products that the customer wants if you're running out. That's a pretty easy thing to do. If there's more demand you should have more supply. I also see the owner of this store doesn't seem to care. They want you to come back but offer no refunds/discounts/free meals the next time you come through? They also seem to not be improving in what they should. Anyways, don't waste you're time going here. You'll probably get what you ask for at another location or get better service at Chic-fil-A or Popeyes.I left this location without food BTW if that is saying anything. Then I drove to a McDonald's (a fast food chain I haven't been to in years) far away from Gull Road in fear of bad service there also. Didn't even get chicken. Settled for a Big Mac. SMDH.
Second time, two different days this week I had to pick up a DoorDash order & both times I was completely ignored in the lobby. The first time no one could be seen. Finally a lady came out & did it all herself while you could hear 2-3 employees having a grand ol’ time in the back. This time, I’m standing right in front of the person boxing up food behind the unit & she looks at me, but doesn’t say anything. It wasn’t until another lady who was running the drive thru saw me & quickly ran over to apologize. Shortly after, a gentleman walks in & again is completely ignored for approximately a good five minutes. I understand being short staffed, but they could use some customer service skills. A simple, “Hello! We’ll be right with you!” can go a long way.
