Great meal but more than that, GREAT SERVICE! Jeanne was our server and she rocked! Attentive, friendly and fast! Going out to dinner is becoming more of a treat and experience for service. She delivered. Thanks! Plus the pizza and nachos we ordered were delicious!
It’s our family favorite go-to. This time we ate outside and it was a very nice evening out. Every time we come the servers are so nice and great at their jobs.
Good, when busy have to wave for refills on drinks. Hot Pizza bar & cold salad bar, nice variety & tasty too. At least they do know to put enough sauce on pizza with out asking. Very pleasant service ? too.
The food was delicious. Everything on the menu sounded amazing and we a difficult time deciding what to order. ? The staff was friendly & attentive. I just didn't expect the claw machine to be so generous. I gave my kids money enough for a few tries and now we're transporting a small army of assorted rubber duckies home. ? We aren't local, but definitely open to visiting again when we pass through again!
Good vibes, good food, and decent prices. Wings had flavor and wasn’t too spicy. The fiery hot pizza (12 inch) wasn’t spicy as I hoped, but it actually kept its good taste on a next day reheat.
My fiancé and I went there for the first time tonight. They have GREAT food and even better service!! They have great prices as well!! This is hands down the best sit down restaurant in the Kalamazoo/Portage area. Please go there and try their sweet potato fries with their special sauce, changed my life!! We’ve visited Jac’s quite a few times because the food has historically been very good. However recently we have noticed inconsistencies in the food (sometimes the Buffalo chicken dip comes out delicious and cheesy, other times the cheese comes out burnt and crusty) and I’m finally writing a review due to the awful service we had this evening. There was what appeared to be an appropriate number of servers for the overall few tables on a slow Monday evening, but it took our waitress, Audrey, 30 minutes after we finished our meal before coming over to give us boxes & checks. We nicely mentioned we had been waiting a long time and she became very rude and snappy and claimed we had not been waiting as long as we had. I ended up getting boxes for our table of 6 from someone at the bar. If we do visit Jac’s again it will be the Portage location to avoid receiving such disappointing service again.
amazing service, excellent food and such a wonderful buffet with so many options. absolutely recommend this spot. Convinced me to have my Bridal Shower and rehearsal dinner there ?
The food was excellent, but Jesus Christ did the service kind of suck. Firstly when we asked for straws the server just threw them at us when she came back with them. She brought us dirty plates for our appetizers. Again the food was really good, but this experience makes me want to reconsider dining in again.
Excellent lunch time salad and pizza bar!There are special treats at the salad bar that are rarely the same. Today they had fried clams and shrimp and last time was spaghetti and meat balls. Usually they have bacon Mac too!
