Great ambiance with engaging and consistent decor with the name. Welcoming and accommodating staff with warm interpersonal skills. But even if none of the above was true the food and beverage stand alone. Texas Corners has created another treasure for all the food Connoisseurs in the area. If you enjoy flavorful pairings and a menu full of strong choices you cannot go wrong with Holy Taco. Fit for a fun date or family night out the environment is conducive for all.
This was our second trip to holy taco. The first was when they had just opened and it was exciting to have an al a carte taco place in town. Well, after ordering the guacamole ($7.00 for chips and guacamole) and then wanting some salsa (an additional $7.00 for MORE chips and salsa) I realized that you couldn’t just order a side of salsa for a lesser amount of money, but you needed to pay another $7.00 for chips and salsa when I could go to any local Mexican joint and get free chips and salsa and pay $4.50 for guacamole. Pretty ridiculous. After the tacos came out I was just as disappointed by them as I was the price of the salsa. Tasteless and bland and didn’t fill the dry corn tortilla they came in.The second time around was even worse. The carnitas came out in one rather measly clump of pork, instead of a shredded pork that is juicy and crispy. The chicken taco was tasteless and dry (and just as clumped together as the carnitas were).I gave this restaurant the benefit of the doubt by going back, but I would have rather spent Cinco De Mayo at one of the many authentic Mexican restaurants around town. The only reason I am giving the restaurant 2 stars is because their general manager was extremely kind and rectified the situation.
A lovely new place for us to eat in Texas Corners. The food was great, we had pork and fish tacos and the chips and salsa were amazing. The service however was the best we’ve ever had and our waiter was outstanding!! We felt so loved. A great local business to support!
No service at all. No acknowledgement upon entry. Nobody to seat you so we chose a table. After waiting 15 minutes we left. We never even got to see the menu.
We are excited to have another taco / taqueria place in Kalamazoo!The tacos are alright. They are pretty standard for a new age taco place. If you order chips, they are unlimited and the salsa is great.The drinks are mediocre.We went a few months ago and the margarita mix was wayyy off. It was incredibly tart and unbearable. We asked the waitress to have it fixed, but the drink was pretty gross. I went again and the margaritas are now way too sweet. Someone needs to work on getting a good recipe for the margs … should be pinnacle for a place like this.The atmosphere is a little crammed but Overall not bad. Fun place to go out.Can’t wait for summer, they have cool outdoor seating!
Tacos, chips, salsa, and guac were all excellent! Wife is vegan but I'm not and I think the brussels sprout tacos were both our favorite. Margaritas were great and the tequila list is impressive. Our server was fantastic! We will be back.
Great food, margaritas, and atmosphere. The homemade chips and salsa are an absolute must! Can't wait to try the guacomole!

Super cute location to dine-in! The street tacos are really good and the tequila selection is fabulous ?Recommend getting there before you would like to eat if it's during busy dining hours. I got lucky but saw many people have to turn around and leave ?
