The best breakfast I can remember having dining out.

Tasty food, ridiculous pricing, and I'd even argue the menu is downright deceptive. It costs $2 for half a biscuit. When they says you get a biscuit anywhere on the menu, they mean half of one.It costs $3 for half a cup of gravy. For 1 biscuit, 1 full cup of gravy, and some potatoes that were simultaneously burnt and undercooked, it costs $11.I used to come here when the food in the picture would cost me something like $8, maybe $12. Now it's $22. The difference between now and then isn't even 5 years. Yeah, you'll like the taste of this food, they use decent ingredients and that's why this is three stars. But honestly, just give a guy the full biscuit.

I have been patronizing Crows Nest since it opened. With the transfer of ownership, who are not local, the service, and regular menu items I use to love have changed bit TODAY took the proverbial cake! After deciding several months ago I was not going to frequent the Crows Nest I went against that decision and regrettably decided to give it one more try. BIG Mistake. After waiting 30 minutes for are food, the waitress forgot the other half of are order, drinks, smoothie, fruit, & potatoes. Reminding her of items she was unapologetic. Also the smoothies were no longer available. Making a comment on the flys inside the restaurant, her comment was "tis the season'. The potatoes tasted like soap, when bill came I asked to see Manager, who was not available. The waitress returned. I explained my disappointment and request for potatoes to be removed. She snatches the receipt out my hand. upon her return she throws the receipt on table. Needless to say I am saddened and disappointed in the overall state of what once was a heralded, family-friendly, courteous, and delicious Neighborhood staple has been reduced to poor customer service. professionalism, and overall aestics.

First time eating at the Crows Nest and it was great! The staff was super courteous and the meal was well prepared. Parking was a bit of an exercise but well worth it. I mean, come on, just look at that photo of the breakfast sliders! It's literally breakfast on biscuits! With GRAVY!As for cost, iirc it was around 13 or 15 bucks which was more than fair considering the amount of rufage i got and the fantastic service. If I ever find myself in Kzoo again, I will be stopping back in, for sure!

Excellent food and the kindest staff members. Food portions were large and very filling. There are vegan options offered as well. Would recommend and visit again! (Food pictured: pecan french toast and chocolate chip pancakes with a side of breakfast potatoes. Fruit smoothie was delicious as well.)

Place had vintage vibes. Service was fantastic and helpful. Everything here was very yummy. The only thing is they cure serving any type of eggs Benedict after Noon. Still tho second pick of Davidstown sandwich was very delightful. ? The Cuban as well.

Went here based on a visit by Under the Radar, a PBS show in Michigan. This place has great food and service. Get there early and be prepared to wait. Not your traditional breakfast and lunch place. They have their own style of cooking and mixing of ingredients. Good place to go if you're not in a hurry.

Good food, good service every visit! ?

What a truly outstanding breakfast! I got the monthly special French toast which was an Espresso French Toast: Fourth Coast brioche, espresso dust, espresso cream glaze, chocolate espresso beans, whipped cream. I added the two sides for $6, which for me was two scrambled eggs and sausage links. Don’t get me wrong, just like this place, you can go anywhere for descent food, atmosphere and service. Crow’s Nest not only has all of that, they have something very near and dear to my heart, and that’s TEAMWORK!!! They are beyond cogs in a wheel…they are the wheel. Watching everyone work together in harmony and with smiles on their faces made the whole experience exceptional! This more than made up for the one star review I gave someone else earlier. The only thing I regret is forgetting to ask where they get their sausage from. Phenomenal job everyone! Others could learn a thing or two from you, that’s for sure.

Delicious food and friendly staff. Hard to go wrong here. The sandwiches are great, as is the French Toast and the breakfast dishes. Imaginative takes on typical dishes executed well.
