A hidden gem of a beer bar hiding behind a cocktail bar. Okay, I love the cocktails too but I’m a beer guy at heart and this place routinely rolls out the most adventurous beer menu in town. This is what Shakes and Hopcat were 3 years ago. The best thing about the place is Parker the manager and his crew of female assassins. I know The Kzoo bar scene and there is no better manager in this town than Parker. He clearly hires and manages to his own very high standards. The location’s history is a trail of ruins but the the wizards at Revel and Roll clearly know how to build a winner…. Go get the best people, treat them like royalty and give them enough freedom to work their passion, skills and charm.
We have a wonderful bartender Avery. She was so personal able
Service is fantastic. Great drinks appetizer and desert.
Parker, Sam and Rachel are amazing hosts and the menu is expertly crafted. Food and drinks on the same level as any you will find downtown. Treat yourself.
Tough giving a low rating; however, my experience has been off putting by Rachel. Very Poor attitude. Especially after having a great time prior. When you have great bartenders like Avery and Sam, it is a shame to be stuck with someone who doesn’t want to be there, ultimately giving my client and I a less then preferred experience.
This is our “Cheers”! Fantastic drinks selection and amazing staff. You won’t be disappointed. The food is fabulous, too.
What a great hole in the wall cocktail bar! We’ve been multiple times now and love it here! Shout out to all the mixologists, they really know their stuff! The drinks are reasonably priced and NEVER watered down like other reviews say. If you like an old fashioned try the rum fashioned that they make!
super chill upscale cocktail bar with creative bartenders and well thought out crafted cocktails. word on the street is they have small plates as well.
The customer service was so so poor. Our waitress didn’t know how to make cocktails and relied on Avery for all her orders. Our waitress was so rude. The cocktails were overpriced and watery for what they were. The music was weird and the TVs were stuck on Food Network and AMC (and don’t ask to change them or the waitress will snidely remark that they aren’t a sports bar). Ironically, they’re barely a cocktail bar. So dissatisfied and disappointed that I won’t return.
Fun experience with trendy, diverse crowd. The drinks are amazingly prepared. You can smoke your drink for an additional charge. Small appetizers available and sweet bartenders.
