Enjoyed dinner at Bold. Really great food service and ambience. This was awesome but on the expensive side of the value equation thus 4 vs 5 stars. If money is not a factor then I would recommend Bold. $162 for 2. Each with one drink, appetizer, no desert but did include tip.About my food: loved my plate. Excellent presentation aroma and very hot. Flavor supported the perception. Scallops perfectly seared, crab rich and meaty, and shrimp very large and cooked perfectly. I would order again and if you should decide to drop the coin, I recommend you try.
My girlfriend and I spent our 2 year anniversary here and tried multiple different appetizers, a Cowboy steak and a dessert. I would highly recommend to give Bold a chance if you haven't. Also, Tuesdays they offer 40% off most of their appetizers, so that work d in our favor too. Lastly, the service was incredible reminded me of the types of restaurants I'm accustomed to I'm the Detroit area, very elegant, professional and worth the trip!
Absolutely the best food in Kalamazoo. Bar none. Brick and Brine is the only place that comes close, but I feel BOLD is a clear winner. It's not cheap, but you will remember it.

Bold is a bit pricey, but the food is exquisite! I ordered the shrimp and scallops with risotto and it was phenomenal. Reservations are recommended, but we arrived without one and they were able to fit the three of us in within minutes. Great staff and service.
