I've heard nothing but good things about this location, I'm sure the food is good too. unfortunately when my family and I got there the person who seated us was less than pleasant and then after we were sat we had numerous servers walk past us, 3 to be exact, no one stopped at all. After waiting for someone to come greet us to take any part of our order there was a family who arrived after us by a few minutes, they were greeted, seated, got their drinks, and placed their order...all while the other servers, and the same server, would stare at us and ignore us. My family and I decided to leave after a lack of service.
All the years I've raved about Bilbos..I was disappointed these last 2 visits. My pizza doesn't taste like it use to..maybe a change to product..but the whole wheat crust I love tasted bland, not the sweet crust of yester year. I tried twice..to give them another shot but no go.Damn..I still like the salad but won't go anymore. Sad.
This was our first time at Bilbo's. And the food was delicious, the cocktails were great and had fun names, and the service was the best we've had anywhere in Kzoo. We will definitely be going back.
The food selection was great. I loved the food names and the food itself. The waitress was very nice. The food came out very quickly and was delicious. Every time we travel and get within 10 miles I make my parents come here.
I highly recommend the Garden of Eatin’ pizza. Lots of veggies and good sauce??. Great crust & cooked well done just as we asked. Will be back.
After 15 years the food was still as good as I remembered!!!! Great service!
I'm honestly really sad given the experience we had. I'll start by saying I chose to go to sit down for dinner with my husband and 2 very small children. My expectations are pretty low for any kind of experience when I take them places. I order milk to drink for my daughter and am told "I don't think we have milk, we like never have milk". Alright that's fine even though it's on the menu. Drops off our apps and doesn't say a word. Drops off water for my daughter doesn't say a word. At this point me and my husband have decided that we should take our dinner home where we would have a more enjoyable experience. Get the bill and the beer I ordered is listed as full price which was ordered during happy hour so I had to wait to have my bill modified. Get the pizza home and realize the toppings are wrong. I'm not surprised since she didn't write anything down and when she repeated it back it was wrong and I had to correct her. There's more but the biggest thing to me is that I felt that I was treated differently because I came in with my children. I've been here many times before them and had a better experience. I also didn't appreciate that my toddler daughter wasn't treated like a human. Very few accommodations for them. No booster seat. Nothing other than water to drink. My fault for not being more aware of what might be available to her. The rest is just sad.
I was really looking forward to dining there. I have been a fan of The Hobbit and Lord of the rings since I was a boy and I had heard that Bilbo's was Middle Earth themes. Sad to say the only thing that really appeared to have any thing to do with The Hobbit or Middle Earth was the naming of the menu items otherwise the place reminded me of any sports bar I've been to.
I came here after a friend recommended this place to me. It was way better than I expected. The pizza was fantastic and the beer was good. The staff were all friendly as well.
