Don't come to this restaurant. I had a really, really bad experience here today. I ordered burritos with steak, Cheese lovers and chips with guacamole. They told me they ran out of the steak and offered the transfer to ground beef. I understand it. And agreed. However, when i get the order, I only got one order of chips ( In the order of cheese lovers ). I did not see my separate order of chips and guacamole. Also in the order of cheese lovers, it includes a soda. But it just comes with a cup vwithout any notice and reminder. I don't know if it's common, but usually for take out orders, you would expect like a filled drink.
It's a real shame how far this restaurant has gone downhill since it launched. The food in itself is not necessarily bad however they are not open When it's posted online, nor when they're signs say at the restaurant. I've come multiple times just to find they've closed hours early. If you try calling to check their hours, the line has a busy signal and will automatically hang up on you. when they do have their food out, sometimes an hour and a 1/2 before they close they they'll have a lot of food missing/unavailable. They'll say they ran out, even main items like beans,rice and salad. when really they have some in the back they just don't want to have to go get it. Last week there was over an 1¹/² hours before close and they had all the food sitting in ziploc bags in their little containers and when I asked for lettuce they only gave me a couple flakes. saying we're almost out. when I pressed the issue, turns out they had multiple bags in the back they just didn't want to get it. (Not even that they didn't want to chop it, just retrieve it). So fundamentally although you might enjoy their food the chances of getting there when they're open or they're actually providing all the ingredients are slim to none. And the likelihood of getting good, nice or even half decent service is infinitesimal. Today 2 hours before close I arrived. staff was in there talking around the register, & someone else was washing the tables. when I tried to open the door or get their attention not 1 person would look at me or give me any signal that they're closed or anything the door was just locked and they would not look at you.
Why is there a store front when every time I try to get food from this location it’s only online orders with a 40 minute wait?! The Jackson, MI Qdoba is a terribly ran business. Good luck trying to get food from there.
This location is horrible and the evening manager is terrible. Good everywhere. Always out of veggies and guac
Food is typically good and consistent, except when its late evening (830pm or later). The closing time is inconsistent, doors get locked early (I had to knock numerous times one evening 1.5 hours before closing to pick up an order I placed online and had paid for). Online orders I've made in the evening have been missing things; an example being two burritos missing queso, meat (no joke, as much as I wish it was), sour cream and cheese. Ordering online for desserts is iffy, both times they were out of what was ordered but didn't say anything when they handed me my order (I still have been charged for them, included or not, at that point). I had to ask them about it both times. I have no complaints about the early evening/daytime food. Overall, they are generous with portions without overdoing it. Qdoba has amazing food and this location is no different. Be wary, and double check your order before leaving when ordering within a couple hours of closing time.
Monday approx 7:30-8:00pm we went into grab food. It was clear they were very busy. The two employees actually making the food were clearly drowning and the manager stood there and did nothing. It was sad to see and overwhelming to watch. I appreciate the two that were on line especially the younger gentlemen that helped us. Food was good. Need new management.
I love this place. I had ordered impossible meat and was told they had ran out of it when I was about to pay for my food. Server Nicky was awesome and knew how to handle the situation really well. She was nice and wouldn’t stop smiling. I wanted to hug her! I am for sure coming back :)
7 out of 10 times they will mess up your order royally. Also food is not even remotely warm most times. Such a sad excuse for Mexican cuisine. Would not recommend unless you just get chips and queso.
We ordered thru Door Dash and not only was our order wrong, but what DID show up was a mess that looked like they just scraped up stuff from the garbage and tossed it on 3 torn tortilla shells. We did get a refund from Door Dash but when I tried to call the store to complain about what was sent to me, they put me on hold and wouldn't pick up the phone again. Qdoba has really gone downhill and we will not be ordering from them again.
Hate to say it, Imlol at all the people who think this place is good. I just don’t get it.Absolutely the Worst so called Americanized Mexican Restaurant Ever! I can make this stuff in my kitchen way Better than this Bland Food. Seriously)And it’s a drag that people are forced to think this place is and has good Food. I’m from Detroit where all the Great Mexican Food/ Restaurants Are.
