So me and my fiancée went in for lunch. First time for him but second time for me. I knew they were bland but didn’t expect it to be worse then the last time. Waited a good 15-20 minutes for my nuggets. They were fresh but tasted funny. The only really good part of my meal was the soda and biscuit. Not even half way through my meal, the manager wearing the headset and one of the cooks started yelling at each other. Felt bad for the guy for doing a good job making sure the chicken was fresh. The manager on the other hand was upset that he was dropping more chicken while they still had some in their little warmer. I would give that guy a promotion but I think he got fired cuz they sent him home. Probably won’t be coming back. Not worth 11 bucks of terrible tasting food and 3 dollar charge for Mac n cheese.
Chicken sandwich combo....very crunchy,fresh and tasty!Mayo and a pickle on this. The side of mac n cheese was delicious!Get ready to pay 9 dollars though....Lunch has went up people.
Felt like i had to say all this just on GP. I Usually have a good experience there but I came last night and ordered 2 chicken sandwiches. One spicy and one regular. They told me it was gonna be a minute because they have to drop them and it'll be a full 4 mins. I told them that's fine I don't mind. She immediately got an attitude and pulled me forward. I waited and when I got my sandwichs one was COVERED in salt and the other had almost a full cup of mayo on it. I do doordash all the time for them and it's crazy to see them drop the ball that much. Not to mention the online ordering supposedly goes down at 8pm so I lost a whole 25 dollars on the online order and wait 5-10 days for it to come back. Sad yall.
This is the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. They could not take my order and made me come inside after waiting 20 minutes for them to tell me they could not take my order at the drive through and I had to come in, while she was taking orders from anyone else. She said she couldn’t take my order because she was restocking her area.
I decided to give this place a try even though the reviews are poor because I like Popeyes Chicken. I ordered two spicy chicken breasts and a small soda for just under $9. What I got was two thighs. I should have checked my oreder before I drove home. They were bland and tasteless Definitely wont be going back.
Overall amazing,First time I went there I got a rip n chicken, that was amazing. I used honey as my dressing. I also got French fries which were very well seasoned and a biscuit.I’ve been there a couple of other times, and tried a variety of the menu, the mashed pototoes were great but gravy was bland; I didn’t like the Cajun rice that much, not a huge fan but it did get discounted later, but there red beans and rice was great! I’ve tried multiple chicken parts drumsticks, wings and thighs all were great. Also I’ve tried multiple of the sauces, the ones I disliked the least was the Mardi Gras mustard and another one. Definitely try a range a food, and there is something for everyone!
The best chicken tenders that I’ve ever had!! So juicy and delicious with the sweet heat sauce. Their macaroni is really good too. Whoever was working there today did their things!! Thank you!
This is the only Popeyes in Jackson. They are short staffed, but they do their best to meet everyone's needs. The chicken is fresh and the sides are delicious.
Worst Popeyes I have ever seen.So I LOVE Popeyes and was excited when this was finally built.The first few time I got food here it was great except the wait times cuz everyone wanted it and there was insane lines.That is all fixed how but the food they put out is junk.I ordered a 4 piece and specifically asked for 2 thighs and 2 legs. What I received was a leg and a thigh and 2 wings all of which look shriveled and old.I called to see what can be done and the manager Eric did say he will replace the chicken and specified that they replace each piece that is brought in. I am guessing they get a lot of people replacing food there and are worried people are taking advantage.Anyways here is the pics of tonight's "food"
Came here on a late lunch break, around 2pm on a Monday. They were out of several menu items, which a lot of places are, pandemic and all. Drive thru lady was clearly agitated when I was asking what items they had in stock. I finally place my order, drive up to the window, they hand me my drink. It's covered in pop, like the entire cup was sprayed with soda. They give me my meal, I had two dipping sauces. One wasn't what I ordered, the other was an unopened BBQ sauce that was disgusting and covered in BBQ sauce from other cups, so I wasn't going to eat that. Nuggets were barely Luke warm.I like Popeyes a lot, but this location will not see any more of my business.
