Amazing food, amazing service! Kat was a fantastic server! Definitely will recommend and would come again!
Everything was either very salty or overcooked. The host attempted to seat us outside in 80 degree weather without asking us if we had a preference. When we asked to be moved inside she huffed at us and rolled her eyes. Our waiter was amazing from start to finish! We were told the mozzarella sticks were a must try but they were very greasy and frankly overrated. Other restaraunts in Jackson offer better food and better prices. Kinda bummed. I had higher expectations for such a popular restaraunt.
The food and drinks were fantastic. I cannot wait to try other items on their menu. I would recommend the outdoor patio if you are coming for conversation with a group. It was difficult to have a conversation with my husband and waitress with the music noise level. There was live music that began later into our dinner though which was nice!
Excellent menu and friendly staff. They have a cocktail and mock tail menu. The Michigan Cherry salad is always a favorite when I’m in Michigan.
Enjoyed a delicious Rochester Mills - Orange Whip IPA, with a big bowl of Jambalaya! The Orange Whip... Absolutely fantastic! The Jambalaya... a 6 out of 10. While the flavor was good, the chicken seemed bland and somewhat stiff (like what you get when you freeze it, thaw it, and then cook it). The shrimp almost tasted breaded, but without the breading (if that's even possible). Overall, it was not bad, but it definitely could be improved. As for the place itself... Beautiful! It's got a very modern feel to it, lots of TVs, a beautiful bar, and suspiciously comfortable seating. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting, and I felt at ease the second I walked in the door (which is hard for me sometimes as I am an Army Veteran that deals with PTSD). Granted, I was dining at 6:30pm on a Wednesday, but still. The waitress was very attentive and kind, and provided excellent service! To anyone contemplating going to One North...do it. You won't be disappointed.
One North catered our graduation open house today. The food was delicious! Jen and Harley were amazing! They kept everything stocked for us during the party and they were an absolute pleasure to work with! Highly recommended them for your next catered event!
I dined at One North because it was close to my hotel and the website made it sound appealing. Service was very good, but the food was not very interesting or memorable. Over on the bar side, it sounded like things were rocking, but it turned out be be a few people doing karaoke and otherwise was dead. No need to go back.
Great food and drinks. Great place for a retirement party.
Two things: the mocktails here are GREAT for anyone under 21 or who doesn’t like alcohol! I got the Cherry Blonde, and I loved it!However, one of my friends got the Orange Chicken, and it was dismal. The chicken was bland and rubbery and clearly frozen, the rice was undercooked and tasted like pure salt and soy-sauce, and the broccoli was bland and undercooked.I got the Traverse City Cherry Burger, and it was good. However, the seasoning made it spicy which cut through the tartness of the cherry jam used on the burger… and overall detracted from the flavor of the dish.Edit: the orange chicken came after about 20 minutes of waiting after the other entrees had already arrived. What is wrong with the kitchen staff to have someone wait almost an hour for food that isn’t even cooked properly? Could have gotten better orange chicken from Panda Express.
Has the potential of good food. Fish dip appetizer was to salty, mashed potatoes were cold, steak was good, Michigan salad was missing the dressing
