Just had a fabulous burger. It had been awhile since we had stopped in. Food was great. Service with a smile. Love eating local! The pie is to die for SO good!

We’ve gone here bi-monthly for years, and have always loved the food, but today’s service was truly terrible. We won’t be back for a very long time, if at all. We were seated in a booth next to the cash register. This is important to note because our waitress was close by and could easily observe the issues yet did nothing to correct them. While we understood they were busy and short staffed, it took well over an hour for us to get our food—and it was cold and not correct. Our waitress obviously left our food waiting for quite awhile before bringing it to our table. The waitress didn’t bother checking in on us AT ALL and never refilled our beverages—which we waited over 20 mins for. We had to flag down a different waiter to try to get our food corrected. Meanwhile our waitress never moved from the cash register even after helping paying customers cash out. We had intended on getting pies, but with such terrible service in 2 hours we really didn’t want to spend more money. Despite our food being cold and incorrect we were still expected to pay full price. The worst $30 I’ve ever spent.

Depends on what food you get, whether it's good or not. I will give it an ok. Waitstaff is good, though.

Servers are nice but I waited for over a hr for my food. In the mean time a watched others getting served before me yet sat down after my table. Orders have been mixed and matched. The kitchen staff has been horrible. Would not recommend if you don't have a couple hrs to set around.

First time there. All you can eat walleye is what we had. Food was good, service could have been better at first but did improve.

I believe that if you are a regular here, the service is much better than if you are an outsider. Food is nothing special, the diner is not very clean. Pie is good, that's the reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1.

It’s a diner. My wife’s Western omelette was good (and big), although they put the potatoes inside, so be aware of that. The waitress said the fish dinner is popular, and the menu said “lightly breaded” so I gave it a try. Well, it was probably 5 parts breading to 1 part fish. Oily, wet breading 1/2-3/8” thick on several relatively small walleye filets. I set aside a small mountain of greasy breading as I ate, but the fries and slaw were good so I didn’t go home hungry. Not sure who would ever order that twice, but to each their own, I guess.I’d say stick to breakfast here.

Fish was under cooked n the service was slow people who came in 10 minutes after me got there food first n we ordered the same thing would. Not recommend the fish

Food was great, service was good as well. I would definitely recommend.

Haven't been there in years. I surely will go back soon. Forgot how amazing the food was. Good home cooking at a reasonable price.
