I had anticipated going to this restaurant. The pictures were of a juicy burger with the cheese oozing out of the burger and fresh looking lettuce & tomato. Plus their ground beef is cooked from fresh ground beef - NOT FROZEN! And I heard their fries were really good! Especially with the cheese curds & gravy. Which are a little pricey! So I couldn't wait to go! Did it meet with my expectations that I'd listed on here?? NOT AT ALL!! Well the Burger was burned to a crisp! And I mean it was crispy hard!! The sandwich ended up being so soggy, that you that it it fell apart. So moving onto the fries. We got one regular fries and one with the cheese curds & gravy. They have only one size fries & they're a bit pricey like whether you got the cheese curds & gravy or just plain fries. They ended up being SO SALTY, that we couldn't even eat them! They were horrible!! I did call and speak with the manager and he gave us a credit to come back and try the meals free again. To be continued! This has to be one of the worst meals I've ever had and at the big price tag, it shouldve been met with better circumstances.
The food was really good, fries and burgers are amazing as well as the chicken tenders. I'm not from around here but whenever I come visit my friend I'm definitely coming here every time. I think we had a new person working inside because we couldn't get a burger with just cheese, 40 minutes later we got what we ordered plus bonus malts and a 10 dollar gift card. Very nice staff and great customer service!
The burgers are pretty good, a little small for the price you’re paying.I ordered the traverse city salad and figured it was going to be on the level of something you’d get from Grand River since it’s the same ownership and it’s a $13! Salad. It was not even close to being worth that kind of money. I’d honestly suggest they take it off the menu and reevaluate the ingredients they use if they’re going to price it like that. If I pay that kind of money for a salad, I expect it to look good. Ditch the iceberg Lettuce and use either spinach or mixed greens. Also ditch the shredded cheddar cheese and replace it with blue or feta cheese.
If I'm going to drop $30+ bucks on burgers, curds and ice cream, I'll be going to Culver's. I really found the burger buns tasty, but everything else felt very lacking. Generic soft serve, that wasn't even very soft. The fries were dry, soft and definitely not fresh. Husband said the poutine was flavorless and he was very underwhelmed and didn't even want to finish them. Customer service wasn't anything special. The wait was horrible. (which made us think the fries would at least be fresh...)Oh well, you win some you lose some. New to the area and wanted to try something new.
Second time I’ve been to this location and both times I’ve been impressed. The staff is very friendly, the food comes really quick and tastes fresh. Both times it has been super clean. I would definitely recommend Doll and Burgers. This trip to Jackson was specifically just for Doll and Burgers

Went there for the first time Friday after work. Went through the drive thru. Employees were very friendly. Total time from placing an order to receiving my order was 5 minutes or so, with one vehicle ahead of me in que. My order was correct and very tasty. I typically don't like pickles and tomatoes on my burger, and I did not ask for them to be omitted. The burger was so good, I ate the Double Deluxe the way they made it for me. The fries were good. Decent amount of fries given for the combo. Overall, I would eat there again. I have no complaints.
I'm speechless. These are literally the best French fries I have ever had in my life.... my mom and I used to go hunting for the best fries in the land, and they finally found us!The burgers are amazing as well, but those fries...holy cow. Please eat at this restaurant. We must keep them safe, protected, and nearby.
Food is SO good! So impressed with the food, service, and cleanliness of this restaurant. My kids raved over the food and said,”This is the best burger I’ve ever had!” And “This is better than McDonalds!” I agree. All their food is from local farms which makes me feel good about where our money is going.My first visit was inside the building and I was immediately impressed with how clean everything was. There were beautiful fresh plants all around and everything looked so nice and new (of course the old architecture of the building is not new but beautifully historical and original).This is definitely our favorite fast food joint!
I've always had a great service and food here. Much better than your typical fast food place and that is reflected in the price. I've been maybe five or six times since they opened. Everything is pretty great there too. Shakes, poutine, burgers and fries. All good.
