Highly recommend!!! The pulled pork is so good I’ll definitely be back. Mac n cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had !!!

The absolute best BBQ I've ever had. From the ribs to the brisket, sausage and pulled pork. All of the meats were tender, juicy and extremely flavorful. All of the seasoning melds perfectly with the meats. The barbecue sauce and Carolina mustard are exquisite. Nothing overpowers each other flavor wise and you taste it all. The mac n cheese is beyond amazing and pairs well with everything I had. Even the coleslaw is amazing and delicious. The restaurant is extremely clean with a friendly staff. I couldn't ask for a better place to eat today. I only wish I could have eaten more, but I left full and happy. I will definitely have to go there from Midland again and again.
Awesome food! We're not in Jackson often, but when I heard about this place, we had to stop by. The food was delicious and the staff was great! I would definitely recommend and we'll be back for sure.
Definitely would recommend this place. At first I was iffy about the pricing but you get your money’s worth. I got the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese. The pulled pork is outstanding and you get so much of it. I got extra sauce on the side but it’s already so tender that I don’t need it. The mac and cheese is also good and has black pepper in it which I think is a must. All this for around 12 dollars and with a drink. Only criticism I have is with take-out the bottom bun ends just getting soggy underneath all the meat. Rather just construct the sandwich myself so that doesn’t happen. Overall, it’s a very nice place. I have come here twice and will continue to do so. ?
Just when you think you can't get good BBQ at a drive-thru, BIG DOG proves you wrong. Brisket and ribs are really good! I wish they had more of a variety when it came to sauces, but that would be my only complaint. And that's not even a complaint. The sauces are really good, I just like dipping each bite I to a different sauce. Go here, you won't be disappointed. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Stopped in for a order of the family sized Mac and Cheese with beef brisket, and some Hobo beans. The container of Mac and Cheese with the brisket had to weigh 3 to 4lbs . Tons of brisket that melted in my mouth ,and the Mac and Cheese ? was Delicious ?.Hobo beans were excellent. Definitely will be going back .
1st time! Everything was good. Portions were fair. Food was good. The pit beans could use a little more flavor. We did not see a meat sampler option on the menu, we thought this was something the owners should consider. Good BBQ is not cheap. Our order was a little pricier than expected.I will return.
We ate inside and took in the whole experience of finally enjoying great food at the long vacant diner. Wonderful to see the Big Dog set up at this location. The whole family is loving these delightful bbq meals! Good portions at a cost that is actually alot lower than I expected. The friendly staff will treat you right, try it and see.?
