Ian, our server was awesome! We will be back. Excellent food
Excellent food and nice variety on the menu. Food presentation was awesome. Service was very friendly and attentive and a great drink menu. Need to return to drink through a few more of them. We sat at a table near the bar so it was a little noisy on a Saturday night, but still able to have our own conversation and the loud group wasnât there the whole time. Even tho we were at a table in the middle, it didnât feel like we were crowded too close to others.
Food was amazing (Scallops, Mahi Mahi and Steak) as was our server. Will go again very soon!
My wifeâs chicken salad on a grilled Pita was the best sheâs ever had! They used to have a pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun that was to die for, but they took it off the menu!ð© PLEASE PUT IT BACK ON THE MENU AND YOU WILL GET ALL 5 STARS FROM ME!!
Our server was lovely â though overworked and definitely spread too thin. That said, our slow service was not her fault. However, our food was beyond mediocre (my pasta was actually pretty gross and came out pretty cold) and extremely overpriced. The fries tasted super old as well. My cocktail was decent, but my husbandâs was really off (heâs a bartender). Again, the staff was all super kind but I wouldnât recommend this spot as it is beyond overpriced for what you receive. I hope they adjust their menu and hire more folks, because the place is cute and in a great location!
After being seated and deciding our menu choices I had some questions regarding the menu. They donât have fresh brewed ice tea!. That was #1 negative. Then, they were out of the seafood I wanted. Then there was only squash and zucchini mix for the veggie, then no replacements for these such as a side salad but cost was crazy for this. At that point, we decided to leave and go elsewhere. Thus was our guest and last time here!
Limited but amazing menu as a gastropub should have! The coctails were also unique and delicious. We will be back when in town!
Lunch with a friend in a busy downtown area can be challenging so I am thankful that this restaurant takes reservations. Our salads were delicious. My friend had the simple salad with roasted chicken and I had the fiesta corn salad. Our server was busy but attentive. This is really a dining gem in downtown Holland.
Right in downtown Holland, Michigan, which may be the most charming town you've ever visited. Inside is cool and historic, but nab a table outside on the sidewalk patio and you'll get all those good Holland vibes. Whole family enjoyed it!
The burgers I dream about while in Chicago. My first visit to this restaurant was last year while traveling through Michigan. But since then, I knew if we returned to Holland, I'd come back to Waverly Stone for another juicy and delicious burger. This time my husband and I came for the tulip festival and to attend the parade. The restaurant was packed and had almost an hour's wait. Despite being hungry after a long drive and looking for a parking spot for 40 minutes, we've decided to wait because the food here is worth it. We've had classic medium-rare burgers, fries, and kimchi on the side. The burger was as good as I remembered from the first time. Also, the prices seem reasonable - everything would be at least 25% more expensive for the same quality food in Chicago. The servers are attentive but don't hover over you all the time. I'd prefer outdoor seating to the dim inside of the restaurant. However, on the day we came, it probably was for the better, considering the crowds.
