Food was good and the bartender was awesome ?
Hard working people making great food. Not the most intuitive process, but once you get it, pretty efficient. Order on the right, get your silverware, drinks and sauces, go wait on the left. Then go to an open table. They were slammed when we got there but powered through with no drop in quality. Highly recommend it, 4 stars because no one seemed to be emptying trash, wiping down tables, etc.
I took a #TeamGreedy road trip just because it was called The Fat Burrito. The directions lead you to the side of the building where there is no sign (it's next to Culver's). While looking at the menu, the guy behind me is talking to his friend about the tortilla soup and how his dad is obsessed... So I add that to my order.I ordered the fat steak fajita burrito (wet), fat beef burrito (wet), 3 taco plate, guacamole and chips, and the tortilla soup.The wait was about 7 minutes even though there was a line. Awesome!!Couldn't wait to get home to try it after I had to stand and watch the food prep for the customers before me. ?It was REALLY GOOD and FAT!!Glad I got the soup it was flavorful and had thick chunks of tender, juicy, meat.I'll be back for the Macho Burrito (the fattest burrito on the menu).Pictured is the beef burrito... That is a 10" plate!!!
They recently moved to a new building across the street right off The highway.The place is big spacious clean.The food has to be ordered ahead at counter and picked up, customers pick silverware spoons and take a seat from the many many tables out there.The new location has a descent bar in.The food is very different from a traditional Mexican restaurant and plenty of options to choose from.Most popular being the burrito- wet and dry with option to choose between slim and Fat version, one can choose the fat size if very hungry.
Love the new location! Incredibly delicious food, made at time of the order! We ordered the Famoso Shanahan! We shared it between the two of us and had leftovers! We highly recommend!!
The food was as good as the staff. They were awesome, the food had oversized portions and was good. I had wanted to come here for some time and just never did. We will be back for sure.
Very nice clean and well kept restaurant, the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, staff was very nice and helpful. The food was very generous portions that taste great. I would not only recommend people to check it out but I truly suggest that people go there, I will be going back there and could become a regular there, mostly due to it was a great experience throughout.
Nice Mexican restaurant. Very friendly people. Food was excellent and hot. Prices are reasonable. Restaurant was clean. Will definitely be visiting here again.
Big portions that taste great. The mini burritos are more than enough to fill you up and have left overs. This place is great for lunch or dinner and is priced to easily allow you to feed your family.Staff is friendly and they move quick especially during a lunch hour. I would definitely recommend.
Food had great flavor. My son loved his food. He got the massive burrito and nachos to go. Mine had something hard in it that I literally most broke my tooth on. Could've been uncooked rice, could've been something else. Not sure, but when mentioned they kind of shrugged it off to be the meat? It wasn't the meat!
