Hands down the best pizza place in Holland. If you haven’t tried their bread stix yet try the original stix, the pip stix, the dirt stix, and the cinna stixs ! There’s so many other good flavors and plenty of other food options as well. In the summer time I love to get their shaved ice. Ps you can order 1/2 and 1/2 of the stix, I usually do 1/2 original 1/2 pip and 1/2 dirt 1/2 cinna. They serve them on separate plates so the flavors don’t mix and you get more options if you’re the only one eating them or if you just want to try more flavors at once !
Best pizza in holland and the best price. Typically hit them up for lunch and they have great lunch specials and the subs are cheap too. Takeout pizza is just as amazing. My only complaint is that the inside is the same dump that it was 10 years ago. It’s filthy and degraded. Clean up, paint, and update the inside and you can get a better “sit down” clientele.
I haven't been to sluggos in about 15 years and just decided to try it again. I feel like I've messed up by not going there in a while. I ordered the jalapeño popper pizza and dirt sticks and they were probably the most gluttonous, and delicious things I've ever eaten. The crust is phenomenal too. Will definitely be back!
i have gone here since 2014 for shaved ice and only shaved ice, i have always been a fan of them, i haven’t gotten shaved ice since 2019 before the pandemic & we went in april of this year to get some and they said it was “out of season” i just went today 05/12/22, i get there and i say hey i’m here for shaved ice, and the man goes “we don’t have shaved ice right now, we have been doing it all day and now we don’t have anyone to do it”i was like oh. i was thinking okay well why can’t u tell one of the workers to go make some? he had people working in the back & they weren’t busy from what i could tell.another reason i’m giving 2 stars is because of the crazy change in price, it went from 3.50 for a large styrofoam cup to now $7 for a medium sized plastic cup. and $2 bucks more for the extra flavoring.i dont know man, they have been on and off since then, i know they can do better.
Super helpful. Very friendly staff. Google had the wrong hours posted (they close at 7:45 not 8:00). We got there right before they locked the door, but they offered to serve us anyways. Really appreciated! Good pizza too!
Went overboard and ordered 5 of the small specialty pizzas. Each one of them incredible. 10/10 almost went back a second time before leaving town.
Quite honestly, my husband and I are what you might call "pizza snobs". I know, pizza snobs? Really? What's that? Well, we're both born and raised Michiganders, have had a LOT of pizzas in our lifetimes, (including in other states) but nothing has come close to our favorite pizza up in Lake City Mi....... until now. When we come back to the Holland area again, Sluggo's is a definite stop. We're camping at the state park campground and it's just a little bit too chilly to cook out tonight. The pizza was not only ready a little before promised, but was delicious, as was the cheese bread! Thanks Sluggo's! Catch ya on the flip side.

Our absolute favorite pizza restaurant of all time! We've since moved away and aren't able to go here as often as we used to. But this last week we were able to drive out to Holland and we definitely made it a point to stop at sluggo's! The breadstick options are very unique, from thousand Island original, to their dirt covered breadsticks! ? Yes you heard me correctly dirt breadsticks! Go check it out It's amazing!
They put peppers that still had stickers on them on my pizza. They also didn’t use a liner in my daughter’s pizza box so cardboard was embedded into the bottom of her pizza. I will never order from here again and suggest others steer clear as well. If they’re willing to serve pizza with peppers on it that still have their produce stickers on them, who knows what else goes on in that kitchen. The health department should seriously take a look.
