We enjoyed our experience. We got in right away but then it got super busy and wait times were up to an hour.I thought my salad was the best I ever had! The chicken added on top was sooo good. My husband was a little disappointed with the special, because it was a lobster and crab dish but it was more like a lobster bisque than actual pieces of lobster.
Amazing food & staff. Beautifully simple decor. The steak was perfection (this coming from a girl from Iowa). Our server was so good at her job. The whole place is a well oiled machine. We had to wait about an hour to get in on a Friday evening. They take your phone number then call once your table is ready. We just wandered around the shops in the area (majority were open late). The owners other restaurants are just down the block. If we get back here those are on the list to try next time.
New in town, googled "best cheeseburger in Holland Michigan", Seventy-Six popped up with favorable reviews so I gave it a shot. Staff was friendly and attentive, the double cheeseburger with fries was outstanding. By far the best brioche bun I've ever eaten, patties were the perfect blend, seasoned nicely and cooked to order. It's clear that this establishment takes pride in their work. Hands down the best cheeseburger I've had in a long time. A+, will dine again. To the ownership: well done!
Wow. Top to bottom everything was amazing—and we don’t give 5 stars lightly. To start, the cocktails were artfully prepared and delicious! The appetizers and entrées were ALL fantastic. Everything was great including the service. We will definitely be back—you won’t be disappointed!
Cool vibes and great service. We got the chicken Madeira and walleye. The dishes were really yummy and so were the drinks. Overall was able to seat us quickly even without reservations and had a great experience.
Arrived about an hour before dinner was served so we had a cab sav and a really good Bloody Mary. Crab Rangoon appetizer was yummy and the caprisi salad was so fresh and tasty. By the time we finished all of that munching it was time to order dinner so my wife got the Kung pao salmon WOW flavor overload perfectly cooked! I got the braised short rib with grayer cheese mashed potatoes and asparagus. Again perfectly prepared! Dessert was wonderful bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Wonderful waitress and laid back ambiance.
Wonderful lunch. Looked online for the reviews for this restaurant and decided to go there as we were in town for the night. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup very nicely done. Sandwich was made with a Texas toast with Havarti I am brie cheese with lemon and honey and tomato soup was excellent, use it as a dipping sauce best lunch in quite a while. My husband had a non-traditional Ruben it wasn’t what I expected but it was really good he said he would enjoy it again. The restaurant gives you the unexpected And it’s worth a visit.
The lunch time "rush" is worth a pop in.I visited Seventy-Six nearing noon to sit down and have lunch. Since the place was empty, the staff were more than up to speed in serving me.The lighting in the restaurant almost tricked me into thinking that it was closed, but I became accustomed to the dark atmosphere very quickly. It has a dramatic, high-end, back-stage like esthetic that I grew quite fond of during my visit. The waitress serving me was very helpful in assisting with food recommendations. She came out with my food not too long after I had placed my order, and continued to check in on me until I had left.I had ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad, and this was one of the best prepared and tasting salads I have had from a restaurant thus far. I will admit the pricing for food is a bit higher than your average burger joint, but I think the quality of food more than makes up for the difference.I would love to see what this place looks like in it's night life, but as far as lunches go, nothing beats how calm and serene Seventy-Six can be.I would suggest this refined establishment for a date night, a dinner meeting, or a peaceful lunch.
Nice beer list here. Seventy-six is a bit pricy but worth it. Good atmosphere and good service.
The service and food were outstanding! The menu has so many great options, we can’t wait to go back.
