Ordered lunch to go. Olive burger, well done. I got a ball of meat, not cooked through and through. 3 sliced olives. My daughter ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with cheese, pickles and mayo. She got a broiled piece of chicken not spicy. My husband ordered spicy chicken deluxe sandwich. I tiny piece of white lettuce and no tomatoe. Didn't know what we got till we got home. We were not happy!

My 6year old chose the Russ' on Henry in Muskegon for her birthday dinner. The staff was amazing the manager even changed the sign out front to wish her a happy 6th birthday, she was so excited!

good food and great service. also excellent pie.

Best waitress ever! A young gal named Rachael. Very good meal and great service.

I felt like I stepped back into the 80s, and it was great. When I walked into the restaurant the first thing I saw was some of the best looking pies I have seen. I loved the atmosphere, waitress was extremely nice and attentative. I order what we call in Kentucky a hot brown (turkey on a sandwich cut in half with mashed potatoes placed in between the sandwich smothered in gravy). Pies looked so good that I order a slice of coconut cream pie before my lunch. Everything was delicious. I will visit again.

A Holland tradition. Food was great. Eggs Benedict, reasonbly priced. Minor misses: Didn't poach the eggs, only over easy, on the Benedict. And cherry topping for grandson's pancakes caused quite a stir. "What? Huh? But that would be cold." They brought some pie filling in a little dish. Ok. But, cherry topping IS ON the menu. We'll go back.

Went there tonight with family. They put beef gravy on the open Turkey sandwich. When brought back to kitchen, they claim they changed the recipe. :( :(

moms favorite place to eat, when she was living.

I have not been to this location, Northside, many times, maybe twice in my life. The service was better than other places. They are trying to stay up to date. But the atmosphere is stuck at when the building was built. My most clear example is the bathrooms. In no way are they ADA compliant. I'd hate for someone to go there not knowing they cannot use the bathroom. And maybe there is an ADA compliant bathroom elsewhere in the building. But as I drove away from my mediocre lunch in a dated atmosphere, I wondered where is the family that established Russ'? Are they not invested in their business anymore? They must not dine there and compare it to others restaurants. Lastly, Eastside is not like that.

Really yummy food and sweet employees. Great home cookin. Don't forget to try the strawberry jam, and buy yourself some for your own kitchen. Yum! ?
