The worst service ever. After sitting, no one came by the table until after we hailed the hostile twice. Then it took forever to get our drinks. The truffle fries were great, but who could screw up fries? The tacos were not good at all. Too much meat, no garnish and a gallon of hot sauce. Could not even eat them. I understand it is a new menus, but it is not good.
Nice environment with tasty food and drink. Small portions of sharable dishes. Except the tacos I liked everything we ordered.
Hands down the best restaurant we experienced during our 5 day vacation here (out of the 10 or so we tried). Delicious, filling, luxury tapas spot. If you only order one thing, make it the “ooey gooey melty goodness” which is Brie wrapped in puff pastry with homemade black pepper toffee/caramel sauce drizzled on top. There’s not a day that goes by without my thinking of that plate ? also you should 100% try the bread pudding for dessert!
Pricey but fabulous food. Quality and flavor in every single dish even though the servings are much smaller than average. One of our dishes had a longer tha nusual wait time and the chef came out and apologized even though we were not unhappy in the least. Drinks were also great. Will definitely be back for special occassions.
Delicious tapas bar! The stuffed dates and and garlic shrimp were my favorites, but the fried plantains were also up there!!! Drinks were a little pricey, but tasted wonderful. It's a cozy space that was warm and inviting on a dreary rainy night. The service was excellent and everything came out freshly prepared. Would recommend for a nice date night or special celebration.
Probably the absolute best Tapas style restaurant I have ever been to. We did have to wait a long time to get in, but it was prom day and they were incredibly busy. But the wait was definitely worth it. We ordered over half of the menu (party of 4) and enjoyed every dish. The drinks were delicious as well. I prefer rum drinks, so I had a couple mojitos and also a coffee and rum desert style drink. If you are in Holland, MI do not miss an opportunity to dine at this amazing restaurant.
Stopped in for a late lunch, sat at the bar. Great Paella, and great margaritas. We enjoyed a lot of conversation with the bartender about travel, friendly staff and inventive menu.Highly recommend, we will be back.
I love the atmosphere and the staff is friendly ! I wish the quality of the food was more consistent- my significant other and I can’t ever remember what we like because one time we could enjoy something and the next it’s not made the same.
I had a Paella with chicken and chorizo for 34$. The worst meal I had in a long time. I'm normally not picky at all but this was so salty that it was inedible. I unfortunately had a terrible experience with this dish.
This was our first time at Poquito and we loved it! The tapas were amazing as were the drinks. The wine selection was vast and surprising! We sat at the bar. We received ok service from the bartender. We understand that everybody is understaffed at that moment so we did take it into consideration. He was nice, but didn't engage much. Ambiance was very nice!
