The team at Mario’s was fantastic helping me pull together a large pizza/salad/breadsticks take-out order for a swim team banquet on fairly short notice. They made perfect recommendations on quantities to order for our group size and when I picked up the order it was perfectly packed and ready, complete with all the plates, plastic ware and napkins we would need - and then some! And it was delicious! Our hungry swimmers, coaches, and parents loved it! I’d go back in a second to dine in or take out . The service from the wait staff was quick, friendly, and attentive. It is too bad the food was of the same quality. The pizza was alright as was the sub. The spaghetti and manicotti not so much. The spaghetti sauce was pretty watery and not much of it, mostly a pile of ground meat, the flavor not impressive. The meatballs with the manicotti tasted and had the texture of the meatballs that come in the spaghettio can. Manicotti pasta itself was a bit chewy. Only could eat a couple bites. Not worth $12. The worse part is the owner or manager (whomever was there Thursday the 17th) was very defensive and rude about it all. Asked if they could take part of it off the bill since it was appetizing at all. Nope there is nothing wrong with them she says. This was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner for my Mother but you ruined that. So thanks. For the record, our waitress was great. That other lady could learn how not to take a food complaint so personally. Maybe it was her recipe and she was offended lol.
Tonight was the first night that our family decided to try Mario's, we don't live very far away and we've lived in Holland 2 years so we thought well let's try Mario's had pretty decent reviews got the pizza and sufficient time however when I open up the box it looks good but when we started to eat it mind you we bought two large deluxe pizza Supremes whatever you call them over $44 worth of pizza and we start eating our pizza and I'm like I don't know something just doesn't
Had a Hawaiian and a vegetable pizza. Would NOT recommend. Tasted like frozen pizza.
Mario's has been one of my favorite places in town to get pizza or a wet burrito. They have friendly servers and quick service. Get a pizza with extra cheese, you will not regret it!
Love Marios. Anytime we are back in Holland, we have to eat there. The pizza, chips n salsa and wet burritos have been favorites of mine for 40 years. I’m thankful we could have one last dine in experience before my mom moved from Holland. Wish we had a place like this in Phoenix.
Our visit was during the COVID pandemic. Drive-up takeout was quick and simple. Our burritos were scrumptious!
Do not ask for extra cheese here they've got you covered for sure... great food and driendly fast service...definately worth every penny spent here at least once a week for my family!
This place has always been a family tradition since I was in elementary school. Top notch food and amazing staff.
