Sunday night dinner was delicious. My son said his burger was the best he ever had. The pretzel, with mustard and/or beer cheese, I could eat every day.
I can’t stop thinking about this amazing meal I enjoyed at Hops at 84 a few months ago and I finally decided to write about it!I ordered the Cioppino and it was so delicious, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection. Everything in it was tender and so fresh! Shrimp, bay scallops, cod, braised tomato, leeks, fennel, clam court bouillon, grilled lemon, and toast. (Available with Gluten Free toast.)That grilled sourdough toast with it was the perfect vehicle for soaking up all the broth!! I can’t wait to go back and have it again.
Amazing burger called trumpet burger. Literally perfect and some of the best cut and drop fries I have ever had. Marg flight to top it off. Check this place out for sure! Service was great and food came out quick.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Very social place, even for a Monday. The Ludington Wheat was very refreshing. The burger sounded awesome. It was great, but seemed like the first half wasn't as seasoned. The second half was. Not sure how that happened. Loved the texture and the snap of the pickled shallots. Fresh cut fries were a great add to the meal too. Definitely will go back and try some of the other delicious sounding foods.
Absolutely stunning place with a great atmosphere. The food was absolutely perfect and the drinks were amazing.Had birthday dinner here while on vacation and I'm so glad we did. The staff was fantastic too.We will definitely be back next time we are in town!
Awesome food. Awesome staff. Warm and friendly. Excellent pricing and quantity. Can't say enough good things about it.
My husband and I shared the Buthcer's block special on the night of the 26th. It was a steak with potato and asparagus. It was fabulous. We also ordered The Board which was the best charcuterie board we have ever had. You can check their menus for what is one it. Service was fabulous.
We had a late lunch here. They didn't open until 3:00 on Tuesday and there was a long line at the door. The sandwiches and the service was good and there was a nice selection of beer
Crazy busy due to tulip festival. Despite that, food was excellent! We had the Olive burger and Shrimp, Grits, and Belly. Really delicious! Server/bartender was friendly and helpful. Would come back!
Why, oh why, do they always want to seat us right next to the hostess stand? Agh. We usually come during the week, at around 5pm, and it isn’t busy upon our arrival, yet they always seat us here at the half booth. I just don’t understand. Who wants to be seated right next to the door, the waiting area (bench), the walkway to the bar? If there were a partition or something, that would help, but there is not. This should be a ‘last resort’ table. Food is great, beer is great, service is great. It’s just this little detail that irritates and prevents it from being a ‘let’s go to Hops!’ kind of night more often. It just doesn’t make for a relaxing experience.
