This place was always lousy, dirty and very weak customer service. However we kept coming back because they served red boneless spare ribs……hard to get except in New England. Went today for the first time this year and very disappointed that they no longer have the only item we enjoyed at this sub-par Chinese buffet. Not returning.
What little food they had was pretty good, but half their buffet was closed, some of the utensils were too hot to even touch. Plus waited 10 mins to be seated when the dinning room was pretty much empty.
Food was awful. Atmosphere completely dead and terrible. And way overpriced, with rude "waiters". Picture this:We walk in, and our conversation immediately stops because it's dead quiet. The serving lady who appeared to be running the show gets up from eating a plate of food and seats us at a table in the middle. She asks us what we want to drink. My thoughts are this point: "Why is she acting like it's a sit down restaurant? Can't we just pick what we want to drink from a fountain? This is weird"Then we walk past the half-closed buffet line, hoping that the food will look better on the way back from our trip to wash our hands. (It didn't.)We loaded up our plates, hopefully expecting that it would taste better than it looked.Me: "It's a Chinese restaurant, surely they'll still have good food, despite the dirtiness and grime everywhere"We finally sit down to eat, and my friend Zach is shaking his head immediately. "Cadence, it's really bad", he whispers in a voice so low I can barely hear him, because if he spoke in a normal voice the entire restaurant would hear his disparaging comments. (Remember, no one else is even talking in this restaurant, though there are 10-15 people there). The food was absolutely gross ?. I kept getting more plates, hoping something would taste normal...but they quickly ran out of the garlic bread, and even the vanilla ice cream from the soft serve machine was spoiled. We very quietly made our plans to get real food at Hungry Howie's, and my friend Sam went up to pay the way overpriced tab...when he was promptly strong armed into paying a 15% tip for service that we didn't receive and for food we didn't eat.All that to say, think twice before coming here. I'm sure you can find a better Asian restaurant elsewhere.
Negative stars for sure. We were in the lovely town of Holland and had a Chinese Buffet craving. The photos on the door boasted a beautiful seafood and Chinese meal. The price for lunch was almost $11 plus the cost of a beverage, so I was sure we were in for a real treat. Half the place was closed off so everyone was dining as close as humanly possible. Stacks of to go containers everywhere. Pans of food sitting on counter tops waiting to replace eaten food items. The sushi was bad.... California Rolls that seemed left over from the day before. The Wonton soup looked like dish water with some nice looking wontons in it. But the broth was so scary I dared not try it. Instead of the beautiful seafood pictured on the entrance, there was a log stack of fake krab next to some hard boiled eggs and some salmon that was so disgusting looking I had to get my phone and take a picture as proof. Never will I ever go back.
Oh my goodness! Talk about great food, this place is in its own league! Best egg rolls I've ever had! Nothing I didn't like. Highly recommend for like 12.99!
Do don’t recommend I went here because it had good reviews. However IS NOTHING COMPARED TO DO NOT COME HERE. The food is cold and there is nothing I have no clue what they are calling a buffet even the pizza is dollar store bought. The trash is near the tables and the higiene of the place is horrible, it smells so bad it’s a Sunday a weekend the so promoted sea food don’t make me laugh there was absolutely nothing. The drinks and food over all taste so bad. I will be reporting this to corporate because this is so unsanitary. The reviews look good however they are from 3-5 years ago, if you value your time and money as over all your health do not como here.
As long as I’ve been going here with family and friends. It’s always good to be eating here
The many negative reviews for this place are undeserved. Food was very hot and fresh even for being there at 7 p.m on a weekday. Only half the buffet stalls were in use as others have said, but they still manage to have above-average selections with plenty of different flavors of chicken. Didn't see any of the hygiene/cleanliness problems mentioned by others.
We mistakenly picked here to go to lunch today. It was so gross! Everything fried with sauce on it was mush. The Rice Noodles were the best thing I ate and they were pretty bland. The food on the bars was cold and not good at all. Will not choose here again.
Food was amazing in not picky though.Love going there I go at least once a monthThe people working there have been with this restaurant since I can remember. They are kind and straightfoward. I do recommend to keep your questions simple since Emglish is not their first language (for example just say "where is the bathroom" instead of making it a whole paragraph)You can always do to-go aka takeout as well (it is cheaper)Always have a great experience
