Stefanie was wonderful and the pizza lives up to the expectations! Perfect thin crusty recipe! Best in Michigan 5 Stars
Pretty mediocre pizza tbh, had one slice and threw the rest away. Also restaurant does not take credit cards and had to pay a 5 dollar ATM charge to pay for this disappointment. I’d recommend going anywhere else for food in Holland, MI.
This experience was terrible. I do feel bad because we did come in a bit late, but were in and out fairly quickly and gone about 20 min before close. As a former server I do dislike doing this, but we just got into town after an all day drive and we're hungry. The server was hands down the worse server I have ever gotten at any restaurant ever.. She was wearing a large coat inside and kept rolling the carpet cleaner right next to us as we were trying to eat. It was pretty obnoxious. We asked for a menu. She just said "we don't have none," rather than letting us know they have paperless menu online. We ordered just a pepperoni to be safe. We asked for parm and she said again "we dont got none." Which was a bit frustrating. It was easily brushed off because there was a lot of fresh parm on the pizza and the pizza was pretty good. My partner hated it, but he hates all thin crust. Then came time to pay the bill. NOTHING is more frustrating than places that don not take card and post up an outrageously priced ($4) ATM in their establishment. Greedy!!! Also, the cost was decent, but the server was so poor at her job we didn't wast to consort again to ask for change. She deserved no tip at all let alone a 4 dollar tip. So a 16 dollar total cost us 24 dollars. Ridiculous. To add insult to injury she asks if we wanted it packed up to go. And she put it between 2 paper plates and put over half a pizza cheese to cheese and smashed it into a paper bag rather than into a proper box. Photo of the pizza in the fridge of the Tiny House B&B after I unpacked from that travesty.
Such a different style of pizza, but my all time favorite! It's different which is great when you want pizza but not an ordinary pizza! Love it! I don't live close but evertime I'm in town I get the pizza and I always bring some hoke for my family it everyone's favorite!
IDK what the deal was today but it just didn't taste like Fricano's. I love FRICANO'S! However dropping$100 for a family with six kids is just too much for me these days. They keep raising they're prices.... Including the $1 can of pop for carry out but $2 if you drink it in house!!!?? Like, what in the world. It's just showed me the mark up on everything. It's just going to have to be a once a year visit.... Maybe?
First-timers. Be aware that Fricano's is a unique style of pizza. Most people either love it or hate it. The crust is thin, the edges are crispy, the sauce is almost non-existent, the cheese is a tangy mozzarella/parmesan blend, heavy on the parmesan, and the seasoning sits on top of it all. This combination of features and flavors is ambrosia to some, but revolting to others. Even the setting is polarizing, with simple paper plates, dim lighting, and the feeling of time travel back several decades. Keep all this in mind, come with an open mind, and remember - love it or hate it, they are doing something right to be open and thriving for longer than most of us have been alive.
The pizza is amazing! and I love the thin crust the tips were a little lot crispy but the pizza tasted so good I had pepperoni pizza and I will be going there again.soooo good!
They just had pizza, was told by a local that it was good. Sadly it was not that great, the service was good. I can see the pizza being good after a few beer or cocktails. Overall was nothing that great. I would not recommend.
Amazing pizza. I generally can't have a pizza without a lot of parm on it, but no problem with their pizza! Best thing crust pizza hands down. We got the everything but
It's a unique fantastic pizza. It's One of a kind. I like the people and the pizza. We buy half bakes to take home to freeze for baking later. The trouble is they are pricing themselves out of business. It used to be $7 - $10 for a pizza not too long ago. Now it is over $15 for a one topping pizza. One pizza can't feed 2 people. I hope they can get the cost down because I'm finding myself not going there as much.Service is a 5 starPizza is a 5 starCost is 1 starI'm sorry for not giving you a 5 star review you deserve. It's the cost of the pizza that makes it not worth visiting.
