My family just visited Daddio's and I must say it was a true pleasure. The lady's of Daddio's were real gems. Peaceful environment and great food. We will be back whenever we visit Holland again.
Being from Traverse City and living in Michigan it’s hard to find good “soul food” but this place definitely didn’t disappoint!! The service was incredibly friendly and you can tell they appreciate every customer that comes in. The young lady working the counter was super nice and gave us an extra side for free since it was our first time in and we couldn’t decide what to get! The chicken was nice and moist the the mac and cheese was super cheesy! I’ll definitely be back in the future. Not to mention we fed 3 people with left overs for only 40 bucks!
My fiance and I went in yesterday after a very ruff day hoping to be able to grab some good comfort food cause given the circumstances we could really use it. Upon our arrival we was greeted with the most welcoming greeting I've had in a long time. It felt as though we walked into your momma or grammas house❤️ As we sit there and look over the menu and have conversation with the owner about our day and how terrible it was we notice that the one thing we wanted they just happened to be out of. Not that it was gunna make or break the decision to still stay and eat she offered to go out of her way to turn the fryer back on and fry some chicken wings specifically for us!! It was an all around incredible experience and I would gladly drive the 2 hours back from home to eat over and over again. The quality of the food, the hospitality, the vibe, the location, all of it was by far the best that I've had in years! Thank you so much for having us and if your looking for a great dinning experience with some AMAZING comfort food please don't cheat yourself! This is 1,000% the location.
Stopped by with my family on Sunday evening. The fried chicken, bbq chicken, sweet potato, mashed potatoes were all excellent. They give very generous portions and we were all full. We ended up dining in and the atmosphere was nice and homely to enjoy our meal. The owner was friendly and kind. I would highly recommend eating here.
I highly recommend Daddio's ! I got the Rib Tip dinner with sweet potatoes , greens and a piece of cornbread???? Wow! Was that delicious.
Good comfort/soul food. The ribs were meaty, greens tasty, and the gumbo and black eye peas sides could each be a meal by themselves over rice! The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. I plan to return to get a take out meal for a picnic at Lake Michigan when it warms up.As of my visit on April 09, 2020, they opened at 2:30PM and were only serving dinner. I recommend calling ahead to see if they’re open or if you plan on getting the fried fish, because the fish is prepared fresh to order.
Listen y’all this is good i will be backTomorrow everything was seasoned good and taste great the macaroni salad has this savory and sweet taste and the bbq on the chicken and ribs better than sweet baby ray you must try for yourself I’m going to try macoronni yams and collard greens tomorrow
I came here yesterday for the first time with my fiance and I gotta say it was so delicious! I got the tips with Mac and chs, beans, and collard greens. Everything was so tasty! Customer service was awesome. We got greeted with a warm smile and she conversated with us like she knew us. Y'all gotta check this place out! I will definitely be coming back!
