We stop here after a visit to the Holland State Park. Today my milk shake was watery and I went back to let the clerks know. One person argued with me and told me that I should have asked for extra thick, even though I got it less than 5 minutes prior. I am not sure what happened but they did give me a new one which was great. The other clerk was very helpful and nice about it.
This long standing soft serve shop has every topping combination you can think of! My favorite is the Light House, but you really can't go wrong. Be aware that the topping-soft serve ratio is 70:30, so you may run out of soft serve before you can eat all the toppings.
Staff moves quickly and is extremely friendly. The ice cream is always consistent, so you know your favorite is going to be perfect each time you order. I'd get some ice cream from here every day if I could
Best ice cream in Holland. We almost always stop here on our way home from the beach. When they're busy, they've got all 4 windows open so they can move the customers through. Sea Turtle is their best flavor ice cream
We visited Captain Sundae twice during a recent stay in Holland, MI - six adults and two ‘tweens’ loved the ice cream sundaes. Lots of flavors available, the usual assortment of cones, sundaes, shakes, malts, etc. The mini-golf course was an added bonus and we enjoyed playing.
Tommy turtle pie is so good. I love pecans and caramel sauce. I got the baby size of the Tommy turtle pie ice cream. Staff is honest and nice. Atmosphere around here is adorable.
Great seating choices And the lines moved quickly. My husband got a banana split and he got plenty of toppings and Bananas. I got the pineapple shake and it was sweet but not too sweet.
Great service! Classic place that locals and tourists all love. The prices are great!!! This is the perfect stop for ice cream!Also some really fun putt putt golf!!!!

Best Ice cream Sundae in the USA and several soft cone options. Don't let the crowd of people scare you away... all the best things in life will have a wait and you wont be mad after taking that first bite!!!! Young adults staff this place but all had smiles and awesome customer service with no attitudes and plenty of knowledge. Skip lunch or dinner and go get the Turtle Sundae !!!!!! A great park is close by to enjoy and walk the shore to ease some of the guilt...
