went to the Holland Brann's Steakhouse today for lunch. at the 8 oz sirloin, sweet potato, and garden salad. I have had the same thing at the Grandville store and the one on Division Street and neither one of those two stores even came close to comparing with the quality of the food at the Holland Store. I was very pleased with my steak. It was cooked just the way I asked for it. the sweet potato was absolutely delicious! and my server who is Jaden did a great job. I had just about given up on Branns Steakhouse until I ate at the one in Holland. their food was very commendable and I will be back because of it! I will drive to Holland to dine at Brands before I will go to any of the other branches.
Their Prime Rib was Nasty, The Mac & Cheese Was Over Cooked, The Rolls Was Horrible & The Waitress Wasn’t Very Friendly.. Definitely Don’t Recommend
It's been a little while since I've been here. Ugh, covid. But wow, it was so good. And our server was really cool. Good attitude, and fun. We had a much needed fun time. With good food and good company.
Our service was pretty poor here. Our waitress was very nice but completely inattentive. We had to ask for refills for our water several times. The host and hostess were very rude. The host had his sweatshirt pulled up around his head and the strings tightened all the way so he could chew on his sweatshirt while he worked. We kindly asked for a table instead of a booth because it's easier for my grandmother to get in and out of and the hostess glared at us and then rolled her eyes before taking us to a table. I don't believe the restaurant has very good hygiene and they apparently don't have a dress code for their workers either. It was not a very clean feeling place at all.. this Brann's location is known to over-serve their guests. If you're look for a nice place in Holland to eat, avoid this place.
Good food, fair prices and quick service. The restaurant was also very clean and the staff was very friendly. I ordered a burger and it came out done just the way I asked not over, or under done. Will be back again.
I was really looking forward to Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner last night. Friends invited me to join them at Brann's. I ordered nachos to share and noticed they were greasy but thought maybe it was just the nachos. But no .. my dinner was greasy as well. Couldn't stand to eat it. Just greasy. Service was good and I left a good tip for the server, but the food wasn't fit to eat.
The menu has become very limited and they definitely try and get as much money out of you as possible. You pay extra for sauce on your steak or onions/mushrooms. I don't remember this a while ago. The staff check on us enough.
It's been some years since I've been to Brann's in Holland. I know this is post Covid but I was disappointed.. it was not the experience I had previously come to expect. Drinks took 4 trips from the waitress to get it right. Our food was ok but since we shared an appetizer it would have been nice to have gotten plates! All we had was the food in the middle and nothing to eat off of. I'll go 2 stars only because the food was not objectionable.
Rolls were hard and dry. My food was simple and still had to be sent back as kitchen messed up. Servers/Host were very good, attentive and on point.
From 5:30 to 5:50 three of us sat at a table in the bar and never saw a server. Numerous attempts to flag down one of the serves and were still ignored. Came in for drinks, after 20 minutes of not even being able to order a drink, we bailed. Other tables were getting service for those that had lots of empties stacked up.Avoid if you are hoping for service
