This place is great! The view of the water is beautiful, particularly after sunset. I had the seafood chowder which was delicious and the perfect texture, but could use just a tad more seasoning. The bruschetta, however, was PERFECT. Heirloom tomatoes and peach preserves with goat cheese and aged balsamic on a toasted baguette. I would drive the 5 hours from Louisville just for the view and the bruschetta!
Fabulous food and incredible service. BoTwerks never disappoints!
Great atmosphere, awesome servers and amazing drink choices.
We wanted a nice sit-down dinner and after our first choice was busier than busy, we went to Boatwerks and had an enjoyable dinner. The only not stellar moment was when we got there and the man working the front was visibly annoyed we didn't want to sit at a high table in the bar area. (This was early on a Monday night and not in the middle of an obvious busy time) and basically told the person seating us to make us sit there. That person however asked if we really wanted to sit somewhere else and when we said yes, she sat us at a booth with a delightful view of the water. Every other server and worker were professional and pleasant. The meal was average and worthwhile and what you would expect at such an establishment. Not my favorite ribeye ever, but not terrible either. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and go there again.
Great place, with a great water view. Food, setting and wait staff were all great! Would go here again.
Poor service. Compared to others in Holland, I do not feel you got your money's worth in either taste or quantity
We really enjoyed our dinner at Boatwerks. The food and drinks were delightful & the service was great. We would highly recommend.
Beautiful view of marina.. The food was excellent, but the service was suspect. I spent many years in the restaurant business and many simple service 101 details were missing. Hate to be too critical, but when the kitchen runner delivered the appetizers to the table, he didn't bring small plates or serving spoons (happened not just at our table), many dirty dishes and glasses remained on the table instead of taking them. Our waitress, Hannah was very good and she did the best she could.. Seemed the restaurant was short help(?)
Definitely worth a visit as the view from the patio is super nice. My favorite item I had was the bruschetta appetizer and lemonade/blueberry pie. The mains were solid - I had the perch sandwich and crab Mac and cheese - but nothing too memorable. Lastly, the service was just a little too inattentive for the price point. After being seated no one came by for a solid 10 plus minutes, and then it took another 10 minutes just to bring us water. I know places are constrained with staffing shortages, but this was a little frustrating. All in all though our sever did do a great job once we ordered our food.
In Holland for service with our RV at Holland Motors. Searched Trip Advisor for dining suggestions. Came upon the Boat Werks and read reviews. Sounded like our kind of place especially since it was on the water. Sat at the bar with great view of the Lake. Food was very good. I had gone into their website which not only showed their regular menu but their specials. That’s what we ordered. The Parmesan encrusted Michigan asparagus for an appetizer which was yummy. The cod dinner and the gnocchi with spicy Italian sausage. Very good.
