My son and I visited from Chicago and the food was good with generous portions.This is a cozy friendly cafe and walking distance from the lake.We loved the server Jen; she was so pleasant and informative.Enjoyed the perfectly poached egg on my toast but I prefer avocado toast on a thinner multi grain bread and toasted a bit more. The food was amazing and the service was very friendly! I got the quiche and fresh fruit and both were delicious! The fruit was not soggy at all and tasted as if they had just cut it up this morning. My boyfriend has their breakfast burrito and it was also delicious! I would highly recommend this place :)

Unfortunately, we are unable to give a review of the food, as we were met at the door by the owner as she shoved other patrons out the door with brash and bitter attitude, as, unbeknownst to us, they close at 1:30. I have never given a one star review of anything, but I have never had such a negative customer service experience. We were literally met by the owner putting her hand out to bar us from entry. This is a stark and disheartening contrast from their advertisement, which proclaims, "the secret to our success I think, is... the way we treat people here." Typically, I try to support local and independent businesses, but it is impossible to support a business that refuses to be supported, and physically drives potential customers away.For a business in a tourist town, wouldn't you expect more?
Amazing food! The monkey bread muffin was to die for, the staff was friendly, the food and coffee were delicious!
